One is well written, marked 23 while the other is just so-so, only 12.I will ask the students to compare them and discuss why

Summarize the characteristics of a good composition: advanced vocabulary, correct sentence structures, proper connectives Aim: By comparing the two articles, the students will know the characteristic of a good article.Step2: Use advanced words and complex
5、structures.Ask the class to work in groups to find some good words and structures in the first composition and decide “which words can be improved?” and “How?” in the other article.Then share with the class.Aim: In this step students will show their different ideas on how to make the writing better.
6、 By doing this, students will learn a lot from each other. Step 3: Use connectives.Task1. Practice . Show a passage on the screen with no connectives. Ask the students to finish

Students work in groups again and try to find proper connectives to make the passage better-organized.Aim: Students learn to use connectives.Step 4. Rewrite. Show students
9、another passage marked 14 and make some changes to form a better one.Aim: Use what the students have learned in this lesson Step 5. Homework In this class we just try to make the students know what a good composition is like. But they need more practice.
