Nowadays, network actually is a must and become a very important part in our daily lives. We also believe in that it will be largely used in future and the application surly will be wid

3、ely more than ever. Finally, TCP/IP should be extremely examined because of its limitation on design. Therefore, we spent a lot of times to study how SCTP can get improve and make up shortage of TCP/IP Protocol. SCTP is a whole new protocol and has not been yet used in many ways at this stage. Howev

4、er, SCTP not only keeps the advantages of TCP/IP but also create new support. Most of all, a key point of many characteristics is to allow user owns several IP at same time and you can switch to any other available IP immediately in case route is discontinued.No mater files transmission or videoconf

5、erencing, there is no need to worry about interruption happened. Thus, the application of SCTP will get more popular and improve our network become stable, meanwhile, reduce any unnecessary loss by suddenly interruption of network.Keywords: SCTP, TCP/IP1.
