1、What I have read:Jane Eyre: This story was written by Charlotte Bronte, who came from the United Kingdom. She was born in 1816, and her mother died when she was very young. The story was from the life herself, and experience. It was written in 1846, and the second fiction of Charlotte. She produced
2、a poor young girl Jane in the story, and expressed her own emotion by Jane experiences, and inspired the readers deeply. Then Charlotte published it, and she became a very famous writer. The special of this book not only the truth and the strong inspiration, but a brave independent woman.The heroin
3、of the story named Jane Eyre, who was an orphan and lived with her aunt Mrs. Reed. But her aunt treated her badly so that Jane had an unhappy experience there. The only one who treated her well was Bessie. One day Mrs. Reed invited Mr. Brocklehurst, the chairman of Lowood, a school for poor men, she
4、 wanted to send Jane to school. But on the other hand Jane was glad to leave the house, before her leave, she said to her aunt, “Goodbye Mrs. Reed, I hate everything about you. Ill never come and see you when Im grown-up, and Ill never call you aunt as long as I live! If anyone asks me how you treat
5、ed me. Ill say youre bad, and hardhearted and mean. The very sight of makes me sick!” After coming Lowood, Jane was sad disappointment. She thought there she could have warm and care. But it was a prison .And also Mr. Brockehurt was cold and implacable cruelty. Jane stood all these and her study was
6、 very well. Ten years later left school into the world and found a job as a governess at Thomfield. The owner of Thomfield Mr. Edward was a very strange, cold and melancholy man. But Jane was moved by him, decided to marry him at last. The moment before they got married, a lawyer came to told Jane t
7、hat Mr. Edward had got married with Bertha, who had been mad and lived in Thomfiled. Jane left there, backing to her aunt. But she heard Mr. Rochester is calling all the time. After Jane coming back to Thomfield, she found it was disappeared. The mad woman set a fire, and Edward Rochester was blind.
8、 Then they began their own life and lived happily. NO.2The old man and the seaThis novel was written by Ernest Hemingway, a very famous America writer. And the story near perfection of from within the limitations of its subject matter, restraint of treatment, regard for the unities of time and place
9、, and evocative simplicity of style. Also, like most great stories, it can be read on more than one level of meaning. On one it is an exciting but tragic adventure story.Substained by the pride of his calling, the only pride he has left, a broken old fisherman ventures far out into the Culf Stream a

Then, alone and exhausted by his struggle to harpoon the giant fish, he is forced into a losing battle with marauding shark, they leave him nothing but skeleton of his catch.Ernest Hemingway: Born on July 21st 1899, in America. 11、ly there were 6 children and Hemingway was the second one. His mother taught him to play cello and his father taught him fishing and shooting. So he had a happy childhood. In school he was a competitive person, and developed all walks at school. Hemingway had a happy childhood but his works were abo
12、ut fear, violence and disappointment. And lonely was another theme.NO.3 Little Women Lousia May Alcot: Born in 1832 and died in 1888. She was the daughter of A Bronson Alcott, the “Sage of concorl.” Her early surrounding were of a highly intellectual and literary character and she naturally took to

16、 older girls to the theater, Amy insisted to go without invited, Jo scolding her little sister. And Amy burning up the manuscript of a precious book, which Jo spent 3 years to finish. Jo didnt forgive Amy until one day Amy was nearly drowned by falling though the ice that conscience-stricken Jo forg
17、ave her sister and learn a much-need lesson of self-control.Meg, too, learned a salutary lesson when she went to visit some fashionable friends and had her first taste of “Vanity Fair”. But on a hall chagrin and remorse followed, and it was not realized the trumpery value of fashionable rivalry and
18、the real worth of simplicity and contentment.John Brooke was the tutor of Laurie, he secret loved Meg. Laurie found this, wrote a love-letter to Meg, this prank caused a terrible upset in both houses, but later on Brook put the momentous question and Meg meekly this whispered “Yes John”.Then Father came back, Meg married Brook Jo became a writer of sensational stories. She found a profitable market and she needed money. Because Beth ill. Another day, Laurie was invited to the dovecote to see Megs new baby. Jo appeared and the twins were born. Although Laurie
