1、lesson 2 new housing estates 崇明县东门中学 胡群丽一、 课文分析(lesson analysis)(一)课文地位(lesson position)本课是unit的第二课,就内容而言是第一课的延伸,第三课的铺垫。它在第一课谈论挑选公寓的基础上,继续展开话题,谈论居住地的环境,重点学习如何描述住宅区的设施和周围的交通与购物情况。(二)课文目标(lesson target)1. 学会表达位置。2. 能综合运用所学知识描述居住地。3. 能用英语比较住宅区过去与现在的不同。(三)课文重点(lesson focus)1. 关键词汇from the text: open spa

9、sing conditions of the zhangs and their housing estate. use the picture cues and used to.说明:本课语法教学采用以旧带新的方法,以旧句型“shanghai was a small fishing village.”引出具有相近意思的新句型“shanghai used to be a small village.”,学生很容易理解used to的含义和用法。链接14语法知识的归纳1. used to的用法(1)used to后面接动词原形,表示过去习惯做的动作或经常出现的状态,常常用来对比过去和现在,说明过去

10、的这个动作或状态现在已不再继续或存在了。(2)used to的否定式和疑问式都各有两种形式。如: 否定形式:he didnt use to he used not to 疑问式:回答形式: did you use to ? yes (no), i did (didnt). used you to ?yes (no), i used to (usednt to )2. used to和be used to的结构区别(1)used to表示“过去常常做某事”而现在已不做了,其中“to”是不定式标志,后跟动词原形。(2)be used to表示“习惯于做某事”,其中“to”是介词,后跟名词或动名词。
