6、components Design advantages The OK mill uses a hydro-pneumatic system to press its grinding rollers against the material bed on the roatting grinding tab le. The grooved roller profile has two grinding zones, an inner and outer. This creates a high and concentrated grind ing pressure on the outer p

7、ath, allowinair to escape into the grooved centre. The inner path serves to prepare the grinding bed, by compressing the feedmaterial as it moves under the ro llers nto the high pressure grind ing zone. Segmented roller wear parts are made of the hardest possib le material without ris k of cracking

8、and are very well suited or hard fac ing. Re-positioning of rollers is possible for evening out wear. These features ensure maximum longevity. Ope rating advantages The rollers are in a lifted position when the mill is started, ensuring troub le-free start-up . This eliminates the need for an auxili

9、ary drive. A control system monitors the machinery and fac ilitates operation. Mill arrangeme nt This schematic illustrates a typical grinding installatio n. The arrangement is very simp le and the operatio n is correspondingly flexib le and reliab le. To maintain the appropriate temperature in the

10、mill c ircuit. For example to ensure adequate dehydration of the gypsum when grind ing cement-the layout is prepared with provis ions for rec irculation of hot exit gas to the mill inlet. In case the mill feed is wet s lag or inc ludes a s ignificant portion of wet additives, addition heat must be p

Switching between different types of products, for example from portland cement to slag, only requires easily made operating adjustments. Ad justment of th

However, if the mill is to operate for a long time with one specific product only it may be exped ient to adjust the dam ring to opt imise the Residue(%)mill for operation with this specific product. Wear line rs The wear liners of the grind ing table and the ro llers are

17、 of the segmented type and are therefore easy to rep lace when worn out. For mills grind ing very abrasiva materallike slag, hardfaceing is an interedting and viab le means of achievving a highavailab ility of the grind ing system, optimis ing the grinding process and saving refurbishment costs.
