1、abstractthis research paper concentrates on how to cultivate the middle school students interest in learning english. with the development of the globalization of the world economy and trade ,english learning is much more necessary. einstein once said:“interest is the best teacher。” so, cultivating
2、the students interest plays an important role in language teaching. in order to make class active and improve teaching efficiency,i adopt five methods, paying more attention to the communication between students and teachers-loving students, respecting each student and trying to be trusted by them,m
3、aking friends with students;creating the safe feeling in english class-.criticizing and praising the students correctly;focusing on the ways of teaching in english class and setting up a studentcentered class, such as singing english songs,playing games,giving vivid and expressive action,and role-pl
4、aying; being strict with students during the process of teaching and leading them to learn by themselves; making students use their free time to learn something about english . they will make the classroom atmosphere active and can stimulate the students enthusiasm in english class.then students wil
5、l be interested in english and happy to learn.the conclusion restates the thesis of the paper explicitly stated in the introduction then highlights the new way in middle school key words: interest teaching methods happy learning摘 要本文主要研究怎样培养初中学生学英语的兴趣。随着经济和贸易的全球化,英语学习变的更为必要。爱因斯坦曾经说过:“兴趣是最好的老师。”所以兴趣在
6、语言教学中扮演了很重要的角色。为了使课堂活跃,提高教学效率,我采取了五种教学方法:1.关注师生间的沟通,主要体现在爱学生,尊重学生并努力取得他们的信任,与他们交朋友;2.营造课堂上安全的氛围如要恰当的批评和表扬学生;3.重视教学方法,创建以学生为中心的课堂,如学唱英语歌曲,玩游戏,给出生动和富有感染力的肢体语言以及进行角色演练;4.教学过程中严格要求学生,引导他们自学;5.让学生们学会利用课余时间学习有关英语的知识。这些方法将使课堂氛围活跃,同时能够激发学生们的学习热情,这样,就调动了他们学英语的兴趣。最后结论部分再次重申本文的观点,强调初中新的教学方法。关键词:兴趣 教学方法 乐学culti

14、ortant and necessary .in order to make it ,it is necessary for us to talk about the interest learning. 1 the importance of the students interest in learning english. at present, educational system emphasizes that students should be developed in all aspects. english learning is very necessary. during
15、 the 29th olympics, we all feel it very important to master english .and english learning is very popular all over china. if students are interested in having english class, they will not feel bored and they will be happy to learn. they will become the host of the class. english class will become mo
16、re efficient. at the same time, our teaching will be improved. then better english learning will influence the other subjects learning. so students will gain more knowledge. and in the future ,they will easily meet the needs of social development. 2.methods of cultivating the learners interest in le
17、arning english2.1 paying more attention t o the communication between students and teachers. teaching and learning are interrelated. so, to set up a good relationship between teachers and students is very important. to be the students favorite teacher and to have students favorite class are every te
18、achers goal. but how to be students favorite teacher? if you want to be loved by students, you should love them firstly.if you love students ,you will fully understand your students.if you understand them,you will be able to go into their hearts.as a teacher who does not love students can never beco
19、me an outstanding teacher. the expectations and love of a teacher will have a tremendous influence on motivation and inspiration of students indomitable spirit of learning. in class,listen to the students carefully, let them talk about their anguish and difficulties, consult with students, train stu
20、dents to become optimistic. meanwhile, after class teachers should listen to the students views about the teaching that are insufficient in class and make up for the insufficiencies timely. this is not only conductive to their professional practice, but also conductive to the establishment of a harm
21、onious democratic relationship with students. sometimes,we are supposed to care for their daily life, such as their friends, hobbies and families. if some people want to become childrens friends, they should squat down to talk with them. through squatting, you will find you are equal to the students
22、. if you are your students friends, you can stand on the position of students to design teaching work from the perspective of students. if teachers treat themselves as learning partners, they can truly meet the needs of students. in this way ,the students will be eager to meet you, and like to be in
23、 your english class. and their interest will be stimulated. for example, one day,i wore a new coat to come into the class. i smiled and asked, am i beautiful?” they said ,yes, then they laughedi think we are happy together to learn. 2.2 creating the safe feeling in english class. the students indivi
24、dual differences mainly refer the differences of the personality factors within different development levels, so teachers should know more about their personality, and protect the students self-esteem and enthusiasm of learning to promote their development. during english teaching, we often design s
25、ome speaking exercise in order to practice their listening and speaking skills. at this time, we can make use of group or pair practicing to set up a hand by hand atmosphere. it is good for some students, whose english may be a little poor,to get the chances to take part in. at the same time, they c
26、an get the safe feeling from the working together. in order to maintain the enthusiasm of students to answer questions, usually, a simple question is answered by poor student. when they are right, you can say good. such encouraging words, which is a warm current that filled in students psychological
27、 development. it will promote students to learn hard and continuously improve learning efficiency;if they make some mistakes, you can say with a smile try again or i believe you will do better . lincoln once said: “everyone likes praise in the human nature, the most pressing need is eager to be comm
28、ended.” as a teacher, we should pay more attention to the art of the criticizing when it is needed, wed better allow students not to hurt their self-esteem and make their personality without insulting. it is the best way to let them feel that the criticizing is for their sincere love and help. thus,
29、 it could attract the students attention and develop their studying interest in the english class. when they get success, they will be happy to join the class. when they feel they are respected, they will respect the teachers and the class will be warm for everyone. under this atmosphere, students w
30、ill have positive attitude toward english learning. 2.3 focusing on the ways of teaching in class and setting up a studentcentered class. no matter how we are friendly and good with students, and how we respect them, if the teaching methods are all the same, students cant feel they are the host of t
31、he class, they must lose the interest in english learning. therefore, we must use different kinds of teaching methods, which are suitable for students ages, knowledge and their personality. we can also put some modern information, computers into our class, make boring knowledge lively and students c
32、onductors of the class. in the following sections, i will talk about four teaching methods.2.3.1 trying to sing english songs. in recent years, the value of english songs in motivating students to learn english and enhancing their involvement is widely acknowledged by more and more english foreign l
33、anguage practitioners. english songs are seen as a unique teaching tool, tal in communicative language teaching, providing language teachers with rich and varied resources. they can be used not only for purposeful language practice, but also to motivate students to learn english and enhance their in
34、volvement in english foreign language learning. the junior students are lively and active. the junior students are lively and active. if we let them memorize english words dully, they would feel like being tied up. they will gradually lose the interest in learning english. if we let them listen to e
35、nglish songs and follow with them in english teaching, it can create a lively atmosphere of learning in class. at the same time, it also arouses the students learning interest and makes their brains be full of vigor and viability. while students appreciate these english songs, they can involve into
36、this beautiful music, their souls will be purified, and their minds will be molded. the knowledge learn from the music will be remembered firmly and efficiently. this is the charm if art and conform to the aesthetic principle completely. english songs allow people to express feelings, such as anger,
37、 pleasure, and sorrow and so on. a good song can let persons express themselves widely, produce beautiful feelings and be full of exciting in their life. even many english songs are an excellent medium for emotional communication. many english songs are simple and beautiful, and they have a strong or sweet rhythm. most students en
