1、初中英语校本课程方案校本课程题目:中西习俗差异本校校本课程开发的背景和目的全国基础教育工作会议在国务院关于基础教育改革与发展决定中指出,实行国家、地方、学校三级课程管理。国家、地方、学校三级课程的确定和实行,不仅是以适应不同地区社会经济发展需要和文化发展需要,体现国家对学生的基本要求,而且又为各地发展留有时间和空间,体现一定程度的弹性。特别是校本课程在整个课程计划中占的比重,可以使学校真正拥有选择的余地,可以使学校能够更好地体现办学特色,同时满足“个性化”的学校发展,还有利于教师专业水平的提高和学生个体性的发展,真正满足学生生存和发展 的需要。我校作为一所完中名校,担负着农村培养人才的重任。由
2、于语言和文化密不可分的关系,外语学习就不可避免地要涉及到文化学习,也必然离不开对英语国家文化的学习和理解。美国社会语言学家海姆斯(hymes)提过言语交际的四要素,其中得体性与现实性就要求我们学生要根据不同场合、对象、话题、身份等使用恰当得体的语言。另外,对英语文化的了解和理解有利于加深对本 国文化的认识,培养爱国注意精神,有利于提高人文素养。校本课程的组织与实施计划:校情分析与材料选择、目标的确立、教学的组织、学习的评价、课后的追踪校本课程计划表:第一部分第一章第一节第二节第二章第一节第二节第二部分第一章日常生活问候见面节日与贺辞 饮食饮食习惯餐饮习惯节假日西方传统节假日第一节 记念性节日第

4、知识面,拓宽学生国际视野,提升学生文化修养。教学重点:培养学生有意识地去关注英语国家文化以及东西文化之间的差异。 课前准备:1、多媒体放映设备;2、 在美女与野兽dvd 中截取几段视频图像;3、 从网络下载有关“巴洛克”建筑风格的典型图片;4、 准备美女与野兽主题歌beauty and the beast。教学时间:二课时教学过程:一、音乐导入从歌曲beauty and the beast引入影片美女与野兽。二、概括剧情用多媒体课件展示故事梗概:故事讲述在村外的森林里,住着一位被魔咒化为野兽的王子。村子里美丽的姑娘贝尔与父亲相依为命,一天父亲在森林里迷路,误入城堡被怪兽囚禁,贝尔为救父亲,自愿
5、留在城堡内。经过一段时间的相处,贝尔发现怪兽其实心地善良,不知不觉就爱上了它。此时村夫恶汉盖斯通欲娶贝尔,便带村民围杀野兽,在奋战中,盖斯通坠楼身亡,最后怪兽也被解除魔 咒,变成英俊的王子。三、该片背景介绍(一) 该片简单情况介绍:美女与野兽的故事来自格林童话。美女与野兽(beauty and the beast)是第一部获奥斯卡奖提名最佳故事片的动画长片,并获第 49 届金球奖最佳影片(歌舞/喜剧类)奖。本片的制作预算高达 8000 万 美元,由 500 多位动画师制作。(二) 该片所获得的荣誉:美女与野兽于 1994 年 4 月 18 日在百老汇的宫殿剧场(palace theatre)公
6、 演。服装设计师 ann hold-ward 获得了 1994 年度,“最佳服装设计”托尼奖(tony award)。影史上至今唯一被提名奧斯卡最佳影片的动画迪士尼第一部与流行音乐結合的动画片迪士尼第一部之后改编为音乐剧的动画片奧斯卡:最佳原著配乐奖最佳歌曲beauty and the beast最佳影片提名最佳音乐提名最佳歌曲提名belle be our guest金球奖:最佳动画片-音乐喜剧最佳电影原著音乐 动画类最佳电影歌曲beauty and the beast动画类葛莱美:最佳电视动画编曲最佳電視動歌曲beauty and the beast洛杉机联合影评奖:最佳动画片四、人物形象介
7、绍1、 belle:人物特性:梦想历险、有主见(甚至有点固执)、爱看书人物介绍:贝儿最喜欢看书了,因为在书里面,她可以借着自己的想象力飞到远处,体会浪漫,她甚至会为了自己喜欢的书看上一遍又一遍。而在那个她出生的法国小村长里,美丽的贝儿却被看作另类。她曾经认为野兽是残酷的,并俘虏了她的爸爸,而为了解救她的父亲,她自己做为替代品,被“囚禁”起来,但是后来她才发现,野兽的内心是温柔善良的,而贝儿最后爱上了野兽,并为 整个城堡带来了无限欢乐。小常识:belle 在法语里就是“美女”的意思。中国有个鞋品牌百丽(belle) 就是用的这个单词。2、 beast:野兽原本是一个冷酷的王子,被变成了这副样子,
8、在遇到贝儿后变 得善良,最后变回了王子。3、 gaston:加斯顿是一个残酷,愚昧,高傲自大的人。他只会打猎,一心想 娶贝儿为妻,不过贝儿并不喜欢他五、经典情节赏析开头片段:once upon a time, in a faraway land, a young prince lived inshining castle. although he had everything his heart desired, the princewas spoiled, selfish, and unkind. but then, one. winters night, an oldbeggar woma
9、n came to the castle and, offered him a single rose in returnfor shelter from the bitter. cold. repulsed by her haggard appearance,the prince sneered at the gift and turned the old woman away, but shewarned him not to be deceived by appearances, for beauty is found within.and when he dismissed her a
10、gain, the old womans ugliness melted awayto reveal a beautiful enchantress. the prince tried to apologize, butit was too late, for she had seen that there was no love in his heart,and as punishment, she transformed him into a hideous beast, and placeda powerful spell on the castle, and all who lived
11、 there. ashamed of hismonstrous form, the beast concealed himself inside his castle, with amagic mirror as his only window to the outside world. the rose she hadoffered was truly an enchanted rose, which would bloom until histwenty-first year. if he could learn to love another, and earn her love inr
12、eturn by the time the last petal fell, then the spell would be broken.if not, he would be doomed to remain a beast for all time. as the yearspassed, he fell into despair, and lost all hope, for who could ever learn to love a beast?教学步骤:1、首先配以英文字幕观看这段故事开头解说;2、 使用这段解说的声音,配以文字加强学生的听力训练;3、 对一些描述人物形象的形容词
13、提炼出加以讲解说明,如:the prince was spoiled, selfish, and unkind.等六、文化介绍及对比(一)“巴洛克”建筑风格1、 播放影片中所出现的有关“巴洛克”建筑的视频资料;2、 介绍“巴洛克”建筑风格的特点:巴洛克建筑风格巴洛克,是产生于文艺复兴高潮过后的一种文化艺术风格。它的外文为 bar-toque,意为畸形的珍珠,其 艺术特点就是怪诞、扭曲、不规整。巴洛克建筑风格的基调是富丽堂皇而又新奇欢畅,具有强烈的世俗享乐的味道。 它主要有四个方面的特征:第一,炫耀财富。它常常大量用贵重的材料、精细的加工、刻意的装饰,以显示其富有与高贵。第二,不拘泥于结构逻辑,
14、常常采用一些非理性组合手法,从而产生反常与惊奇的特殊效果。第三,充满欢乐的气氛。第四,标新立异, 追求新奇。3、 与中国古代建筑以及我国民族建筑风格进行对比;4、 出示一些能代表“巴洛克”建筑风格的典型图片。(二)西餐点餐过程1、 播放影片中有关西餐点餐的视频资料;2、 介绍西餐点餐过程;3、 与中国点餐过程进行对比。七、学唱本片经典歌曲beauty and the beast,在一种愉快的氛围中结束 本节课。lesson 1 greetinglanguage knowledge:1. how are you ? 你好吗? fine ,thank you. 很好,谢谢你。2. good mor
