教学设计1、 教学目标 1.key vocabulary storm,wind,light,report,area,wood,window,match,flashlight,beat,against,asleep,fall asleep, die down, rise,fallen,apart2. phrases: black clouds ,feel like, fall asleep, put pieces of wood ever the windows,make sure,beat against,in a mess,die down,fallen trees,broken windows,bring people closer together, hear strong and outside his home,with no light outside, in the area,beat heavily against the windows,break many things apart3. Target language (1) Black clouds were making the sky very dark(2) With no light outside ,it felt like midnight(3) It was hard to have fun with a serious storm happening outside.(4) Although the storm broke many things apart,it brought families and neighbors closer together.4.Ability Object By reading training,get the students master the past progressive tense better and learn how to talk about past events.5.Moral Objects Lets help each other, then we will be closer together.2、 学情分析 The students have learned past progressive tense in the first and second period they master the grammar well.This lesson is a reading lesson.After the listening,reading and grammar class. Show the title “The storm brought people closer together”T:What does “the storm”mean?S:Heavy rain T:Yes.It means strong wind and rains heavy.T:Show a picture.(Who can say something the picture?)S:The weather was bad.T:Can you guess what happened in this place?S:Storm.活动2 Fast reading and matchingGet the students to read fast then match each paragraph with the process of storm before the storm,during the storm ,after the storm.活动3 Detail reading1、 Before the storm1. Get students to read para1 quickly and answer questions(1) What was the weather like before the storm started?(2) What did the news on TV reported?2. Teacher get the students to follow the tape recorder to read paragraph 1 and 2 explains the language points of paragraph1.3. Get students to read para2 quickly and answer questions.(1) .What was Bens father doing before the storm came?(2) What was Bens mother doing before the storm came?(3) What other things do we need to prepare?4.Teacher get one student to read paragraph2 then explains the language points of paragraph 2.2、 During the storm1.
