I can jump far.说课稿行知小学 赵海玲 Good morning, everyone. Today I will talk about Module 5 Unit 1 I can jump far. My content includes 7 parts. Part 1. Analysis of Teaching Content This unit is Module 5 Unit 1. The content is simple and it is related to students daily life. However, it is the new content, so I design some interesting games to improve their interest. Part 2. Analysis of Students The students in grade three are quite active, and they are interested in English, but it is difficult for them to express what they want in English. So they can express what they want through the activities. Part 3. Teaching aims Knowledge aim: to master new words(run, fast, can, jump, far) and the structures (I can jump far. I can run fast. Can you run fast? Yes, I can. No, I cant. ) Ability aim: to be able to ask others to know what they can and cant do Emotion aim: to love sports to know “ Friendship comes first, competition the second.” Part 4. Key and difficult points Key points: new words and sentences Difficult points: the way to ask and answer with “can” the words “winner” Part 5. Teaching methods Task-based language teaching method and communicative method Part 6. Teaching aids PPT, words cards, radio, tape Part 7. Teaching steps Step 1. Warming up Sing a song “Row a boat” Student sing the song and do the actions Step2. Lead- in Look, say and do the actions Learn some expressions with the expressions “Can you run fast? Yes, I can. No, I cant.” Step3. Presentation Teaching of “winner, slow, Can you run fast? Yes, I can. No, I cant.” In this part, students have a match who can jump far and who can run fast. Thus, they will be very active and master better. Sing and chant “Can you run fast?” Listen to CD and circle the words “can , cant” Listen again and answer the questions Read the difficult sentences Step4. Practice Guessing game Teacher shows some pictures whose some parts are hiding and students guess with “Can you ?” Step 5. Extension Students watch t
