Unit 7 Its raining. 教学设计Section A 1 (1a-2c)一、教学目标: 1. 语言知识目标:1) 能掌握以下单词: rain/rainy wind/windy cloud/cloudy sun/sunny, snow/snowy, weather, 能掌握以下句型: Hows the weather in Beijing? What is the weather like in Beijing?Its sunny. What is he doing?He is playing soccer2) 能用所学的知识描述天气情况。 3)描述正在发生的动作。 2、 知识与能力目标a) 在看图与听读中掌握 rain/ rainy wind/windy cloud/ cloudy snow/ snowy sun/sunny四会词。b)全部会读、听懂三城市名: Moscow Toronto Boston3、情感、态度与价值观在熟悉天气预报图标情况下,了解世界各地气候,教育学生善于观察天气,善于调整自己的情绪;知道大自然的力量是神奇而伟大的,我们应当好好学习,立志学好科学知识,为长大后探索神奇的大自然,打好基础。 二、教学重点1、_ How is the weather in Beijing?/What is the weather like?_It is sunny / rainy /windy/cloudy / snowy2、 what are you doing?及回答。三教学难点 1、it is rainy . it is raining.两句的理解。2、 what are you doing?及回答。3.运用目标语言来对天气进行问答,并且会问答其他人正在进行的活动。四教学方法我采用任务教学法、情境教学法完成本节课的目标教学。用图片展示,学习词汇,用听说法完成任务。通过合作学习领会天气的两种句子及现在进行时语法。三、教学过程. Warming up 1. Greet the Ss and listen to music, then talk about the weather (设计意图:通过生动的音乐让学生感受自然,了解天气,另外听英语歌曲也是学英语的好方法) . Presentation 1. (Show some pictures of the weather) Let Ss look at the pictures and ask them how the weather is. Ss learn the new words and expressions with the help of the pictures. (准确读出本课新单词,并会对表示天气的词语进行默写。(评价目标一)2.Look at the pictures .Then find the differences of them(本环节安排学生探究活动,通过小组培养合作意识) 3. Check the answers. . Game (Hows the weather?)1. (Showing some pictures on the big screen.) Ask Ss Hows the weather?2. Ss answer the question in small groups. . Listening 1. Now lets look at the city names in the box in 1b. Please read after me. Ss read the cities after the teacher. 2. Now, Well hear four conversations. Listen carefully, point out each city in the picture as it comes upon the tape. Play the recording a second time. Ask Ss to write the name of the city in the picture of its weather. 3. Check the answers. . Pair work 1. Tell the Ss: If you are in one of the places in the picture above. Talk about the weather with your friends in another city on the phone. 2. Make a model with a student like this:T: Hi! Hows the weather in Beijing?S1: Its sunny. 2. Ss work in pairs. Ask and answer about the weather in the cities. (设计意图:充分发挥学生的想象力,使其和英语结合到一起,练习英语口语). Learning the signs The teacher let the ss know the weather signs in the weather report(设计意图:英语是一门语言,重要性在于能学以致用,通过与天气预报结合到达学以致用的效果). Listening and Brainstorming1. Work on 2a. LetsseewhatJoesfamiliesaredoing.Pointtothe4pictures. 2.AskSstelleachpersonisdoingineachpicture.Moreattentionsshouldbepaid t othecorrectuseofthePresentProgressiveTense. 3. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and number the pictures 1-4. 4.PlaythetapeforSstocheck the answers. 5.Withthewholepicture,getsomeSstotellthestoryofit.6. Brainstorming(头脑风暴)Playthetapeforanothertime.Thendoamemorytest. AskSs:WhatsUncleJoe/Jeff/Mary/AuntSarahdoing?WhatreScottandLucydoing?IsJeffwatchingTV? etc. (设计意图:通过此环节锻炼学生的速记能力)7. Let Ss match the names with the activities in 2b. Play the recording for the Ss to check the answers. . Role-play 1.
