摘要 随着当今全球一体化和国际化发展的趋势，各个国家在政治，经济，生产， 学术等各项领域的交流同益增多。跨文化交际理论及实践成为学术领域和同常生 活中越来越热门的话题。本文以先前的语用学和跨文化交际学研究为基础，对中 美话语中体现的文化价值进行对比研究，并希望探寻隐藏在差异背后的真j 下动机 和本源。 本文以获奖感言作为目标研究对象，并把差异文化价值维度锁定在霍法斯泰 德总结的五对文化价值维度中的个体主义和集体主义这一维度差异，试图探索个 体主义和集体主义价值取向是以何种方式影响人们的行为，并体现在其话语中 的。本文分别采集了中美两国近三年来电影颁奖典礼中各五篇语料，并同时进行 定量和定性对比分析。 本文主要从社会语言学和功能语法的角度进行研究，同时结合其他语篇分析 的方法。我们从语料的词汇选择，感言中提到或感谢的人物，以及这些人物与演 讲者的关系，还有每个语篇的及物性过程进行分析，并把以上参数罗列出来进行 对比以探寻其中差异。感言中提到或感谢的人物反映演讲者的亲密社会文化圈， 即他们选择哪个群体作为自己的内圈。而这些人物与演讲者的关系可以反映演讲 者的社会关系取向。及物性过程则可以反映演讲者的自我构筑，主观性程度等。 以上要素均可以体现人们文化价值取向。 人们往往认为中国人更偏向于集体主义取向，西方人更偏向于个人主义取 向。通过本文的研究发现，美国人在建构自我身份和表达方式方面要更为个体主 义，中国人则更为集体主义。而在亲密社会文化圈子方面，美国人和中国人都表 现为集体主义，区别在于他们选择归属于不同的群体。总之，文化是能动的，多 元的，立体的。我们应该客观，全面，辨证的来看待它。通过跨文化交际理论的 学习，我们不仅可以对其他文化有进一步的了解，也提高了对自身文化的认识。
