摘要 摘要 在翻译中，归化意味着消除源文本中的一切陌生感和异域性，使译文读起来像原 著。归化译法以目标语言为中心。异化是一种截然相反的方法，通过采用这种译法，源 语言的异域性将最大限度地得到保留，译文读起来必然就像译著。归化与异化之争是意 译与直译之争的延伸，知识论争的战场由语言层次上升到诗学、文化和政治层面。传统 的翻译研究历来比较重视语言分析和文本对照，而对语言翻译过程中所涉及的文化现象 研究有待于进一步探讨。 鉴于目前所面临的翻译研究之狭窄的纯语言字面的困境，从一个全球化的广阔语境 下来反思翻译学的问题是有着重大意义的。正如王宁所说：它一方面将填补国内这方面 研究的空白，另一方面也可以结合中国学者的研究实践来和国际同行进行讨论。文化全 球化作为经济全球化的一个直接后果，对各民族间文化的传播、交流又提出了新的要 求。翻译实际上也变成了一种文化传播和文化阐释，在当前这个全球化的大语境之下， 翻译的功能变得越来越重要，伴随而来的就是翻译的定义也应该发生变化。在全球化的 时代，信息的传播和大众传媒的崛起使得全球化与文化的关系尤为密不可分，因而对翻 译的研究也应该摆脱狭窄的语言文字层面的束缚，将其置于广阔的跨文化语境之下。 在文化全球化的语境下，文化多元化的形势下，译者应顺应这一形势并对其善加利 用，把我国优秀的传统文化译成英语介绍给世界，让更多的人了解我们的传统文化，让 我们的儒家文化被越来越多的人所理解、接受，希望对解决一些棘手的国际争端有新的 启发。为了实现这一目的，在翻译过程中，译者应尽量保留我国传统文化的特色，所 以，在翻译中除了一些不可译的文本外应采取异化的策略。同时，广告翻译不是简单的 语言符号切换，而是一种综合性的跨文化交流活动，它可以对产品输入国消费者的传统习 惯、心理、信仰等产生直接冲击，从而影响商品的市场占有率和商品的销量。因此如何在 全球化的语境下进行广告的翻译也是一个迫切解决的问题。 本文根据德国功能翻译派的目的论和v e n u t i 的后殖民翻译理论，在文化全球化的语 境下，对商业广告和中国古典文学的翻译策略进行理论方面的探讨。作者提出在当今的 翻译中应考虑到作者的意图、文本的类型、翻译的目的、读者的类型和读者的需要。在
