摘要 随着改革开放的进一步深化，中国正越来越多地涉足国际航运业务。航运法 律文献是衡量航运经济活动的标准。我国是航运领域的一名新的参与者，有必要 了解熟悉有关这一领域的国际法规以及其他国家的航运法规。学习这些航运法规 有助于我国航运法规的制定。因此，航运法律英语文献的汉译变得越来越重要。 但航运法律英语文献的翻译一直缺乏系统的理论指导。本论文试图应用对等翻译 理论来指导航运法律英语文献的汉译。 翻译航运法律英语文献时，应注意航运法律英语的特征。航运法律英语不同 于日常英语，有其独特的词法，句法和篇章特点。本文作者结合航运法律英语的 特点应用对等翻译理论来指导航运法律英语文献的汉译，并试图找到一些有助于 航运法律英语文献翻译的方法。希望能为系统的航运法律文献翻译理论的建立做 出一点贡献。 本论文由一个导言和四个章节组成。导言部分简要介绍了航运法律文献的翻 译情况。 第一章提供有关航运法律文献的基本信息。首先介绍了法律语言的概念。然 后从词汇，句法和篇章三个方面，对法律英语和法律汉语进行了对比分析。最后， 作者界定了航运法律文献的概念，指出航运法律文献英译汉的现状及重要性。 第二章首先介绍了法律翻译这一概念。然后概述了j a c o b s o n 和n i d a 的对等 翻译理论。作者特别强调要结合翻译理论与航运法律文献的特点进行翻译。并初 步提出法律翻译的四个原则忠实，准确，通顺和一致。 第三章是论文的主体部分，分析了航运法律荚语的特点及翻译。在这一章中， 作者对航运法律英语的词汇，句法和篇章进行了全面的研究，并结合对等理论分 析航运法律英语文献的汉译。航运法律英语有七个词汇特点：( 1 ) 古语词，( 2 ) 外来语，( 3 ) 术语，( 4 ) 具有特殊意义的日常词语，( 5 ) 正式词，( 6 ) 同义词 或近义词连用，( 7 ) 缩略语。航运法律英语在句法层面有八个特点，包括陈述 句、基本句式、被动句、情态动词s h a l l 、名词化结构、代词、平行结构和长句 的使用。航运法律英语的篇章一般由三个部分组成：( 1 ) 序言，说明缔约各方 签订此文件的目的和意图；( 2 ) 实质性条款，通常第一条是界定术语的条款，第 二条说明适用范围；( 3 ) 最后条款，包括保存；签字，批准，接受，核准和加入； 生效；调整和修正；退出；文本有效语言等。 第四章是论文的结语部分，这一部分由两个小节组成。作者首先总结了论文 的主要内容，指出航运法律文献英译汉是一个严肃的工作，翻译时应小心谨慎。 最后，作者指出当前国内对航运法律文献翻译的研究还相当不足，不能令人满意， 这方面还需要更艰苦的努力和更深刻的研究。 本论文初步探讨了航运法律文献英译汉这一领域，作者衷心希望这篇论文
