Through the three steps, you will learn how to complete a quiz, how to listen for emphasis and how to use information from more than one source.,Skills building 1: completing a quiz,What should we do when completing a quiz?,1. Before you fill in your answer, read the question a second time and be sure you understand what is being asked. 2. Write your answers in a complete sentence. You do not want the judge to misunderstand your answer because you have left out some words. 3. Read both the question and the answer again. Be sure that you have answered the whole question and that you have spelt everything correctly.,tips,Part A: Completing a quiz about the film industry,1) Prediction Guess what questions will be asked in the radio program and what the answers will be.,2) First listening,Listen to the tape for the first time , and answer: Questions1,3,4,5,8,9,10,3) Second listening,Listen for a second time and check your answers.,1.
