Period l Warming up,Listening,Speaking Teaching Goals:1To arouse Ss interest in learning about science fiction and scientific facts2To develop Ss listening and speaking abilitiesTeaching Procedures:Step 1Lead-in Purpose:To lead Ss to the topic of science fiction Ask Ss what kind of novel they like to read and why FirstbrainstormNovels you like to readSuggested Answers: Love story, detective novels, science fictionStep 2Warming upPurpose:To lead Ss to the topic of this unit1Pair work: Get Ss to ask each other the questionsand then ask them to present it before class(1)Do you know about these films?(2)What do these films tell us?
