2、vent of an emergency shutdown.ConditionsAn emergency shutdown of the Formate Destruction System should occur in the event of a gasket failure, line rupture, fire/explosion, or a utilities failure. In an emergency shutdown condition, only the control valves will be closed using the valves controller

3、unless a control valve is suspected of leaking through. In those special cases, a block valve will have to be manually closed to eliminate the leakage.NOTE: This is for Training only, and is not intended to be used as a step by step procedure.PO/MTBEGUIDELINE Close FV-38021 on TBA feed from Crude TB

4、A Tank. Close FV-38090 on Demineralized water to TBA feed. Close FV-38091 on Hydrogen to TBA feed. Close S15 steam valve to preheater using FV-38030. Monitor overhead temperature using TI-38013. Stop Steam and Condensate flow on TBA Feed Fractionation Colum Reboiler. If conditions allow, stop Bottom

5、 flow from TBA Feed Fractionation Colum Reboiler. Shutdown bottoms pumps and close bottom control valve. If conditions allow, shutdown reflux pumps, close overhead product control valve.Operate purge to LP vent gas to control column pressure as necessary. Isolate leak. Depressure affected area. Ensure fire fighting equipment is in place
