1、Chapter 3 The night of the horse Reading一、 章节分析(Reading section )(一)综述本单元的阅读部分是一个故事:木马屠城。由于该故事曾被多次拍成电影,因此学生们对这个故事应该是比较熟悉。因此,教师应充分利用学生的兴趣,将部分影片的片段同课文相结合,来进行教授。本课的任务有两个:1 学生通过对课文的学习。掌握一些核心词汇,例如:celebrate, disappear,succeed,wooden,capture,army等。2 通过学习课文,了解故事的写作方法,为writing部分做准备。(二)阅读目标1 知识目标学习课文中重点词、词组、

2、句型和语法。2 能力目标通过阅读进一步了解歌剧的历史以及其他方面的知识。3 情感目标让学生体会和平的可贵;体验胜利的喜悦,失败的痛苦。(三)教学方法采用任务型教学法组织教学,通过听说,讨论等具体活动,达到教学效果。(四)重点和难点1 词汇学习1) 核心词汇 army, , celebrate, disappear, succeed, wooden, Greek, citizen, trick, secret, capture2) 拓展词汇 drag , beyond, Troy, Trojan, interrupt, securely, 3) 词组和短语 a huge horse made o

Then the Trojans made sure all the gates of the city were securely locked.教学设计(Teaching Designs)教学内容教学实施建议教学资源参考Pre-reading 要学好本课,建议老师在这个阶段完成以下两个任务:l 通过图片和电影片段将学生带入故事的特定的场景.l 鼓励学生说出自己看图片和电影片段之后的感受,为进入课文学习作好铺垫.l 建议P36词义配对练习中所涉及的词语可在描述P34的图

5、片时适当引入。具体处理这部分内容的建议见链接1, 牛津英语教学参考Page34链接1While-reading 这是本课的重点部分.要求老师与学生一起走进这个故事,同时初步了解故事中所涉及的各种人物之间的关系。 可以将课文中出现的词汇贯穿其中,使学生在比较自然的情景中习得课文中的词汇.l 通过看picture (课本P34),同时浏览课文了解故事的大概梗概。l 通过True or False的练习,使学生熟悉故事情节,还通过(P37)中的Read and think 使学生加深对于希腊与特洛伊之间复杂而又传奇的木马计的了解。这部分教师除了利用课本中所提供的素材和练习之外,师生间用问答方式则更好

6、,以达到课文整体阅读和理解的目的,这不仅提高教学效果,更重要的是符合学生思维发展的循序渐进规律,让课堂的发展更有层次和合理。l 接下来的环节是Further understanding of the text。 学生在这一环节里,先进行图片排序,接着用适当动词描述故事的发展。这个设计安排既可以回顾课文的主要内容,还可以看出学生的理解是否准确,很多精彩的智慧火花会在这一刻出现。链接2 链接3 Post-reading 安排学生讨论:What do you think of the Greek soldiers ? 7、ned from it? 链接1说明:通过对课文背景知识的介绍,使学生能更好的理解课文中的故事打下基础,同时也为后面的听力教学做铺垫。 故事的历史背景是长达十年、规模宏伟、给交战双方造成重大创伤的特洛伊战争。本课描述了这一场战争中的主要情节。战争起因可谓“冲冠一怒为红颜” 为了希腊美女海伦。人物关系: 海伦是斯巴达国王的女儿,几乎全希腊的王子都想娶她为妻,最后她选了墨涅拉俄斯(Menelaus)。然而,幸福的婚姻并没持续很久。海伦(Helen)为了与特洛伊王子帕里斯(Paris)抛弃了丈夫和年幼的女儿,带着许多财宝和帕里斯来到了斯巴达(Sparta)。于是变引发了希腊与特洛伊之战(The Tr
