India'shiringdemandformidtohighleveltalentin2024hasshownafluctuatingyetincreasingtrendoverall.Whiletherewasasignificantgrowthupto6.79%inQ3,the

averagehiringdemanddroppedbackinQ4.TheCorporateServicessectorexperiencedthemostsignificantvolatility,withquarterlyshiftsexceeding15%throughouttheyear.Thehighestdemandforrecruitmentisconcentratedat

themiddleoftheyear,suchasMayandJuly,andis

relativelyloweratthebeginningandendoftheyear,

althoughoverallitisstillhigherthanlastyear,reflectingchangesinthemarketandcontinuedpositive

developments.

interviewstageincreasingbyapproximately5%comparedto2023.Thispositiveshift,whileincremental,reflectsasteadyhiringdemandacrossindustries.Thisslightincreasehighlightsabalancedtalent

Whenaskediftheyreceivedasalaryincreasein2024,thedataindicatesa

relativelybalancedresponsefromIndianemployees’perspective.Amajorityofrespondents,around49%,reportedreceivingasalaryincrease.Meanwhile,asignificantportion,45%,experiencednochangeintheirearnings.Onlyasmallminority,6%,sawareductionintheirsalary.

EmployeeSalarySatisfaction:MajorityDiscontentDespite35%HappywithPay

Salaryandcompensationconsistentlytopthelistasoneofthemostexciting

incentivesforcareeradvancement,especiallyinIndia’sjobmarket,wheretheyplayacrucialroleasmotivators.Resultsshowedthat35%ofIndia'semployeesaresatisfiedwiththeircurrentsalaryandcompensationpackage.However,amajority,53%,expresseddissatisfaction,highlightingasignificantlevelof

Significantly,wealsofoundthatforIndia'semployees,themostcriticalcomponentofacompensationpackageisthebasesalary,with58%prioritizingit.Flexibilityinworkhoursisalsohighlyvalued,beingthesecondmostimportantaspectat28%.Commissionorbonusschemesareconsideredimportantby9%ofrespondents,whilestockoptionsaretheleastprioritized,withonly5%findingthemsignificant.Thissuggeststhatwhileadditionalbenefitsareappreciated,asolidbasesalary

andwork-lifebalanceareparamountforIndia'semployees.
