作者通过对英格兰北部的春天湖边的水仙花的描写，表现了人与自然的交流，诗人从中找到了未泯的童心，窥见了一种永恒的生机。每节诗中一三行、二四行、五六行分别押韵，格调清新欢快，优美流畅。
