However,theywantedthetoolstobedirectedbyhealthcareprofessionalsastheyfeeltherearesomethingthatAI

cannotdoandwhenfacedbetweenahumanandcomputer,theywouldbemorewillingtotrustthehuman.

Leadresearcher,ProfessorSusanShelmerdineandherteamarehopingtodevelopAItoolsthatcancreate

writtenreportsdirectfromradiologyimagesandallowpatientstoasktheAIquestionsabouttheirimaging.
