therehavebeenanumberofdifferenttechniquestohelpdesignersapproachthisimportantpoint.

37

theycangetalittlecomplex.Butgoodnewsisthatthere’rereallyonlythreekindsofdecisionsyouneedtomakeaboutcolorinyourhome:

thesmallones,themediumones,

andthelargeones.答案:A。

so,

therefore,

thus,

dueto,

for,

thanksto,

accountfor,because,

owingto,asaresultof,asaresult等。表示并列关系的连词有:and,inaddition,what’smore,moreover,besides,aswellas,togetherwith,alongwith,furthermore等。表示转折的连词有:but,yet,instead,however,despite,inspiteof,though,while,as

等。表示時间关系的连词有:firstly,tobeginwith,tostartwith,firstofall,finally,then,meanwhile等。

39

Itgivesusagreatfeelingofpeace.答案:C。Beinginnaturerefreshesus.

37

Iftheairyou’rebreathingisclean—whichitwouldbeifyou’reawayfromthesmogofcities—thentheairisfilledwithlife-giving,

energizingoxygen.Ifyouexerciseoutofdoors,

yourbodywilllearntobreathemoredeeply,

allowingevenmoreoxygentogettoyourmuscles(肌肉)andyourbrain.答案:A。Freshaircleansourlungs.

yourchildhoodmemories.Ourmodelofwhatagardenshouldbeoftengoesbacktochildhood.GrandmasrosegardenandDadsvegetablegardenmightbegoodorbad,butthat’snotwhat’simportant.

19—howbeinginthosegardensmadeusfeel.

Directionisconcernedprimarilywithsupervision(监管)andguidancebythemanagementinauthority.

75.答案:A。Controlincludestheuseofrecordsandreportstocompareactualworkwiththesetstandardsforwork.

Planningispartofbeingorganized,

too.15Calendars,

lists,

andschedulescanhelpyouplan.Youcanbuyordrawacalendarandkeepitnearyourworkplace.答案:A。Planningmeansdecidingwhatyouwilldoandwhenyouwilldoit.

Forhomestuff,

beingorganizedmeanshavingaplacetoputyourthingsandputtingthembackasyougo.

14

Itmeanskeepingyourschoolbag,

yourshoes,

andyourcleanunderwearinthesameplacessoyoualwaysknowwheretofindthem.答案:G。

Itmeanshangingyourcoatupinsteadofdroppingitonthefloororthrowingitonachair. Thejobsofthefuturehavenotyetbeeninvented.

示例:Theresearchersfoundthatlevelsofoxytocin(催产素)

werehigherin

bothhumansanddogsaftertheyinteracted...Nagasawadidthesameexperimentwithhumansandwolves,butitdidnotgivethesameresults.55.Whatcanweinfer(推断)fromthelastsentenceofthetext?A.Moreexperimentsareexpectedtohelpwolvesproduceoxytocin.B.Thecuddlechemicalinhumanbloodprotectsusagainstwolves.C.Itmakessensethehumansandwolvesarenaturallybestfriends.D.It'sgenerallyimpossibletohavethebondbetweenhumansandwolves.

sometimes,may,might,can,could,possibly,probably等词。

Hethenannouncedthatthepersonwhogrewthemostbeautifulorchidwouldtakehisthrone.

Butashardashetried,hisflowersimplywouldnotgrow.

根据hegaveDavidajobasaroyalcourtjudge(法官).HebelievedthatDavid’shonestywouldmakehimtherightpersontomakesurethejustice(公正)inthecountry.

题干的意思是:以下哪一个是文章的最佳标题?A.HonestyIstheBestPolicy诚实是最好的为人之道。B.HowtoGrowOrchids如何种植兰花。C.FlowersAretheBestGifts花是最好的礼物。 AlthoughhedidnotchooseDavidasthenewking,hegaveDavidajobasaroyalcourtjudge(法官).HebelievedthatDavid’shonestywouldmakehimtherightpersontomakesurethejustice(公正)inthecountry.

故选A。(二)Oneday,amansawanoldladysittinginsidehercaratthesideoftheroad.Thoughitwasdark,hecouldseesheneededhelp.Sohestoppedhiscarandwalkedtowardsher.Theoldladywasworried,eventhoughshenoticedthesmileonhisface.Washegoingtohurther?

Washegoingtohurther?

Ifyoureallywanttopaymeback,hereiswhatyoudo—donotletthischain(链子)ofloveendwithyou.

结合选项A.TheHelpofStrangers陌生人的帮助;B.ThePowerofSmile微笑的力量;C.TheChinaofLove爱的中国;D.TheBillofKindness仁慈的比尔;可知A选项符合题意,故答案选A。(三)
