stream

in

a

huge

open

space

bats.

light

candles

woke

up

thebats,and

they

flew

at

the

flames.

knew

thiswas

dangerous,so

he

took

Becky's

hand

tohurry

heraway,but

one

of

the

bats

followedandput

out

Becky's

candle

with

its

wings.

The

bats

followed

them

fora

long

time,

but

Tom

andBecky

ran

into

every

new

passage

that

theycame

to,

and

at

lastthey

got

away

from

the

bats.
