Themonksreturnedtheenthusiasmoftheresidentswithapowerfulperformance.Almostwithoutsleep,themonksdrovetotheconcerthallpreparingthestageanddoingtherehearsals.

Buddhistmusic,whichoriginatedfromancientIndia,founditswayintoChinasome2,000yearsago,andafterabsorbingelementsoftraditionalChinesefolkmusic,courtmusicandotherreligiousmusic,auniqueformwhichisnowcalledChineseBuddhistmusiccameintobeing.

HesaidthatBuddhismandBuddhistmusicintheChinesemainland,TaiwanandHongKonghadthesameroots,andthroughtheperformancebymonksfromacrosstheTaiwanStrait,thetraditionalreligiousartwouldbefurtherdevelopedandbringmorehappinesstotheChinese.
