Fighter—战斗机美国America2023年7月10日,美国F22隐形战机正式布署夏威夷空军基地!InJuly10,2023,theUnitedStatesF22stealthfighterofficiallydeployedatHawaiiairforcebase!“猛禽”F22F-22F-22Explanation—F-22TheLockheedMartin/BoeingF-22Raptorisafifth-generation,fighteraircraftthatusesstealthtechnology.Itisprimarilyanairsuperiorityfighter,buthasmultiplecapabilitiesthatincludegroundattack,electronicwarfare,andsignalsintelligenceroles.TheUnitedStatesAirForceconsiderstheF-22acriticalcomponentoftheUSstrikeforce,andclaimsthattheF-22cannotbematchedbyanyknownorprojectedfighteraircraft.AirChiefMarshalAngusHouston,ChiefoftheAustralianDefenceForce,saidin2023thatthe"F-22willbethemostoutstandingfighterplaneeverbuilt."Explanation—F-22MissionTheF-22RaptoristheAirForce'snewestfighteraircraft.Itscombinationofstealth,supercruise,maneuverability,andintegratedavionics,coupledwithimprovedsupportability,representsanexponentialleapinwarfightingcapabilities.TheRaptorperformsbothair-to-airandair-to-groundmissionsallowingfullrealizationofoperationalconceptsvitaltothe21stcenturyAirForce.TheF-22,acriticalcomponentoftheGlobalStrikeTaskForce,isdesignedtoprojectairdominance,rapidlyandatgreatdistancesanddefeatthreatsattemptingtodenyaccesstoournation'sAirForce,Army,NavyandMarineCorps.TheF-22cannotbematchedbyanyknownorprojectedfighteraircraft.Explanation—F-22FeaturesAcombinationofsensorcapability,integratedavionics,situationalawareness,andweaponsprovidesfirst-killopportunityagainstthreats.TheF-22possessesasophisticatedsensorsuiteallowingthepilottotrack,identify,shootandkillair-to-airthreatsbeforebeingdetected.Significantadvancesincockpitdesignandsensorfusionimprovethepilot'ssituationalawareness.Intheair-to-airconfigurationtheRaptorcarriessixAIM-120AMRAAMsandtwoAIM-9Sidewinders.TheF-22hasasignificantcapabilitytoattacksurfacetargets.Intheair-to-groundconfigurationtheaircraftcancarrytwo1,000-poundGBU-32JointDirectAttackMunitionsinternallyandwilluseon-boardavionicsfornavigationandweaponsdeliverysupport.Inthefutureair-to-groundcapabilitywillbeenhancedwiththeadditionofanupgradedradaranduptoeightsmalldiameterbombs.TheRaptorwillalsocarrytwoAIM-120sandtwoAIM-9sintheair-to-groundconfiguration.Advancesinlow-observabletechnologiesprovidesignificantlyimprovedsurvivabilityandlethalityagainstair-to-airandsurface-to-airthreats.TheF-22bringsstealthintotheday,enablingitnotonlytoprotectitselfbutotherassets.TheF-22enginesproducemorethrustthananycurrentfighterengine.ThecombinationofsleekaerodynamicdesignandincreasedthrustallowstheF-22tocruiseatsupersonicairspeeds(greaterthan1.5Mach)withoutusingafterburner--acharacteristicknownassupercruise.SupercruisegreatlyexpandstheF-22'soperatingenvelopeinbothspeedandrangeovercurrentfighters,whichmustusefuel-consumingafterburnertooperateatsupersonicspeeds.ThesophisticatedF-22aerodesign,advancedflightcontrols,thrustvectoring,andhighthrust-to-weightratioprovidethecapabilitytooutmaneuverallcurrentandprojectedaircraft.TheF-22designhasbeenextensivelytestedandrefinedaerodynamicallyduringthedevelopmentprocess.TheF-22'scharacteristicsprovideasynergisticeffectensuringF-22Alethalityagainstalladvancedairthreats.Thecombinationofstealth,integratedavionicsandsupercruisedrasticallyshrinkssurface-to-airmissileengagementenvelopesandminimizesenemycapabilitiestotrackandengagetheF-22.Thecombinationofreducedobservabilityandsupercruiseaccentuatestheadvantageofsurpriseinatacticalenvironment.TheF-22willhavebetterreliabilityandmaintainabilitythananyfighteraircraftinhistory.IncreasedF-22reliabilityandmaintainabilitypaysoffinlessmanpowerrequiredtofixtheaircraftandtheabilitytooperatemoreefficiently.Explanation—F-22BackgroundTheAdvancedTacticalFighterenteredtheDemonstrationandValidationphasein1986.Theprototypeaircraft(YF-22andYF-23)bothcompletedtheirfirstflightsinlate1990.UltimatelytheYF-22wasselectedasbestofthetwoandtheengineeringandmanufacturingdevelopmenteffortbeganin1991withdevelopmentcontractstoLockheed/Boeing(airframe)andPratt&Whitney(engines).EMDincludedextensivesubsystemandsystemtestingaswellasflighttestingwithnineaircraftatEdwardsAirForceBase,Calif.ThefirstEMDflightwasin1997andatthecompletionofitsflighttestlifethisaircraftwasusedforlive-firetesting.Theprogramreceivedapprovaltoenterlowrateinitialproductionin2023.InitialoperationalandtestevaluationbytheAirForceOperationalTestandEvaluationCenterwassuccessfullycompletedin2023.Basedonmaturityofdesignandotherfactorstheprogramreceivedapprovalforfullrateproductionin2023.AirEducationandTrainingCommand,AirCombatCommandandPacificAirForcesaretheprimaryAirForceorganizationsflyingtheF-22.TheaircraftdesignationwastheF/A-22forashorttimebeforebeingrenamedF-22AinDecember2023.Explanation—F-22GeneralCharacteristicsPrimaryFunction:Airdominance,multi-rolefighterContractor:Lockheed-Martin,BoeingPowerPlant:TwoPratt&WhitneyF119-PW-100turbofanengineswithafterburnersandtwo-dimensionalthrustvectoringnozzles.Thrust:35,000-poundclass(eachengine)Wingspan:44feet,6inches(13.6meters)Length:62feet,1inch(18.9meters)Height:16feet,8inches(5.1meters)Weight:43,340pounds(19
