选修(一)UnitOne第六课时(非限制性定语从句)⁠1.在主从复合句中,对某一名词或代词起修饰作用的从句叫作定语从句,其作用相当于形容词。被修饰的名词或代词叫作先行词,引导定语从句的词叫作关系词。2.定语从句的结构:先行词+关系词+定语从句定语从句Heisateacherwholikesplayingfootball.定语从句likesplayingfootball关系词teacher先行词⁠定语从句分类限制性定语从句非限制性定语从句功能修饰、限制先行词补充说明先行词或整个主句形式不用逗号与主句隔开与主句用逗号隔开意义去掉后句意不完整去掉从句后主句意思仍完整译法通常译成先行词的定语通常译成与主句并列的分句⁠非限定性定语从句的关系词关系词所指所做成分关系代词who人主语whom人宾语(不能省)which物或整个主句或主句的一部分主语/宾语等whose人或物定语(“…的”)as整个主句或主句的一部分主语/宾语等关系副词when时间名词时间状语where地点名词地点状语关系词的三个作用:引导定语从句。代替先行词。在定语从句中担当一个成分。注:1.that、why不能引导非限制性定语从句2.非限制性定语从句表原因时,不用why引导,而用forwhich代替why(1)Thewonderfullecturewasgivenbythefounderofanonprofitorganization,whose
