ControlFilenameisechoed,asareany inputfilesitdirectstoload.Usebrowseboxestoadd/changeinput filesduringasession.ClickClickThisparametersetsthemaximumnumberofiterationsEPA-CMB8.2willattempttoarriveatasolution.Ifnoconvergencecanbeachieved,thereisprobablyexcessivecollinearityforthissampleandcombinationoffittingsources.Itsvalueisadjustedviathespinners.(Mustbe>0;notheoreticalupperlimit;default=20)AllowstheeligiblespacecollinearityevaluationmethodofHenry(1992)tobeimplementedwitheachCMBcalculation.Themaximumsourceuncertaintyisathresholdexpressedasapercentageofthetotalmeasuredmassandisadjustableviathespinners(default=20%;acceptablerange0-100).AllowstheeligiblespacecollinearityevaluationmethodofHenry(1992)tobeimplementedwitheachCMBcalculation.Theminimumsourceprojectionissettoadefaultvalueof0.95(acceptablerange0.0-1.0),butcanbechangedinthedisplayfield.Thisparametersetsthenumberofdecimalplacesdisplayedintheoutputwindowandoutputfiles.Dependsontheunitsusedintheinputdatafiles.Settingaffectsthedisplaycolumnsforsourcecontributionsestimates,measuredspeciesconcentrations(ambientsamplesandsourceprofiles),calculatedcontributionsbyspecies,aswellasforinversesingularvalues.Adjustedbyusingthespinners.Thedefaultvalueis5andthemaximumvalueis6.Theunitsusedforreportingresultsmaybechangedviaapull-downmenu.Othertypicalunitsareavailable,oronemaybecreated(thenumberofcharactersislimitedto5orless).Fileformatforspreadsheet-typeoutputisselectedinthepull-downbox.DefaultisASCII(txt);comma-separatedvalue(CSV)isalsoavailable.Selectionisechoedonthestatusbaratthetopofthescreen.CheckingthisboxappliestheBrittandLuecke(1973)linearleastsquaressolutionexplainedbyWatsonetal.(1984)whenappliedtoCMBcalculations.Allowsthesourceprofilesusedinthefitcalculationtovary,andenablesageneralsolutiontotheleastsquaresestimationthatincludesuncertaintyinallthevariables(i.e.,thesourcecompositionsaswellastheambientconcentrations).Checkingthisboxeliminatesnegativesourcecontributionsfromthecalculation,oneatatime.Aftereachfitattempt,ifanysourceshavenegativecontributions,thesourcewiththelargestnegativecontributioniseliminatedandanotherfitisattempted.ProcessisrepeateduntilEPA-CMB8.2findsnosourceswithnegativecontributions.Invocationofthisoptionaffectsthefitobtainedbyeffectivelyremovingcollinearsources.Causestheprogramtocyclethroughthecorrespondingpairs(samearrayindex)offittingspeciesandsourceprofilearraysspecifiedinthesourceandspeciesselectioninputwindowsuntilbestcompositeFitMeasurehasbeenachieved.ThefitwiththelargestFitMeasureisthendisplayedandbecomesthecurrentfit.AfteraBestFithasbeenmade,thefittingspeciesandfittingsourcesarrayswillbetagged(highlighted)intheirrespectivewindows.Weights(coefficients)appliedtoeachoftheperformancemeasureschisquare,r-square,percentmass,andfractionofeligiblesources.Positivevaluesbetween0and1maybeenteredbytypingintotheappropriatedisplayfields.Defaultsare1.0foreachperformancemeasureweight.ClickClickClickCollapsedlistofsamples.ClickClickClickIndexNumberClickClickIndexNumberClickClickClickClickCollapsedviewforArray5NB:Sampleselectionwillberetainedfollowingthebatchcalculation.SamplescaneasilybeDEselectedandREselectedontheAmbientDataSamplesscreen.ClickClickBatchrunforthe6samplestagged…3rdresultofthe6inthebuffer…SUMClickPrint/SaveMainReportClickClickClickClickClickSavespreadsheet-typeresultsClickSPcode
