AbsoluteHumidity:Theamountofwatervaporpresentinaunitvolumeofair,measuredingramspercubicmeter(g/m³).Absolutehumiditydirectlyrelatestothemoisturecontentintheair.

Adsorption:Theprocesswhichmoleculesofasubstanceadheretothesurfaceofanothersubstance.Indryingapplications,adsorptionreferstothewatervapormoleculesstickingtothesurfaceofasolidmaterial.
