Becauseofitssmallsize，itseasytogettoknowtheislandparishbyparish.Theresmuchtosee，whetheryoutravelbybike，ferry，bus，ortaxi.Youllneedplentyoftime，though，becausethepaceisslow.Carsandothermotorizedvehicles，suchasmopeds(助动车;机器脚踏车)，mustobservethemaximumspeedof15mphinHamiltonandSt.George，20mphinthecountryside.Thespeedlimitsarerigidlyenforced，andthereareseverepenaltiesforviolations.
