EgyptisphasingAItodiversesectorsinalignment

alreadyratifiednationalAIstrategies,andtheregionasawholeispoisedtogenerate$320billioninAI

revenuesby2030.

AmongMENAcountries,Egyptismakingstridesin

advancingAIinitspolicyagendawithoutdisregardingthecountry’seconomicchallenges.Inadditionto

committingtoacorrectivemacroeconomicprogramwiththeInternationalMonetaryFund,EgyptendorsedfoundationalbuildingblocksforanAIpolicy,namelythenationalAIcouncil,thenationalAIstrategy,and

thecharterforresponsibleAI.Asitstands,thecountryhasthesecond-highestannualmarketgrowthrate

forAIintheMENA,trailingMorocco,standingat28%comparedtotheregion’saverageof25%.
