STANDARD:THEASSISTANTANDTHESUPERVISORWILLJOINTLYPRODUCEANINVENTORYOFALLEQUIPMENTANDACONTROLSYSTEMFORTHEISSUEOFGAMESANDEQUIPMENT.EACHWILLBESIMPLEANDEFFECTIVE.

PROCEDURE:

TheassistantandSupervisorwillproduceaninventoryofalldepartmentalequipment.Thisinventorywillbecheckedatintervals.

Fromtheinventory,theywillalsoproduceacontrolsystemfortheissueandreclaimofallgamesandsportsequipment.AllstaffwillbeawareofhowthesystemworksandhowtoissueandreclaimequipmentfromtheBeachBureandActivitiesDesk.

Inventory

Theinventoryissimplyalistorrecordofallequipmentthedepartmenthasatitsdisposal.Itservesthepurposeofensuringthattheequipmentisaccountedforandthatifanyequipmentgoesmissing,weareawareofit.

TheControlSystem

Two“Equipmentissue”bookswillbeopened.OneforusebehindtheActivitiesDeskandoneforusebehindtheBeachBure.NoChargewillbemadeforissueoftheequipment,butitshouldbereturnedby5p.m.totheplaceofissue.EquipmentissuedattheActivitiesDeskmaystayoutovernight.

EnsurethatallguestsatthepoolsideknowthattheeventisabouttotakeplaceandhowlongitwilltakeEncourageparticipation.

Whenguestsaregathered,explaintherules:

Safetyatalltimes–iftireddropout,noduckingetc.

Noholdingtheballwhenmoving.Youmustswimwhilepushingit.
