在英语中,表示对某件事物的确定程度,即表示推测的时候,我们通常会用到以下情态动词:1.must2.might,could,may3.can’t,couldn’t【注意】1.情态动词不能表示正在发生或已经发生的事情,只表示期待或估计某

事的发生。2.情态动词没有人称、数的变化,即情态动词第三人称单数不加-s。3.情态动词没有非谓语形式,即没有不定式、分词等形式。Grammar情态动词表推测1.Shecanplaysthepiano.2.Mr.Licouldisathome.3.Theydon’tcanspeakJapanese.

他肯定知道答案。

他肯定不知道答案。Grammar2.can/couldcan表示推测“可能性”时,一般用于否定句或疑问句。can在疑问句中意思是“会,可能”。eg:Hecan’tpickherschoolbagup.他不可能拿了她的书包。could表示某事有可能发生或可能是事实。eg:Don’teatit.Itcouldgobad.不要吃它,可能坏了。Theplanecouldbeputoffbythestorm.这趟飞机可能会因为暴风雨而

推迟。Grammar3.may/mightmay,might表示推测“可能性”时,意思是“可能”,“也许”。might不表示过去时态,语气更委婉,可能性更小。may,might表推测时,可用于否定句,但不用于疑问句。eg:Hemay/mightnotbeathome,butI’mnotsure.

此结构表示对现在或将来情况的推测和判断。

eg:

(2)情态动词+bedoing

此结构表示对现在或将来正在进行的情况的推测和判断。

此结构表示对过去情况的推测和判断。

(4)情态动词+havebeendoing

此结构表示对过去正在进行的情况的推测和判断。
