boringthing.Andnow,mostoftheBritishpublicisfamiliarevenwiththeextremesofHeston
BlumenthaPsmoleculargastronomy,aformofcookingthatemploysscientificmethodstocreate
theperfectdish.

Therewasplentyofroomforimprovement.Theproblemswiththenation'scuisinecanbe
tracedbacktotheSecondWorldWar.BeforetheWar,muchofBritain*sfoodwasimportedand
whenGermanU-boatsbeganattackingshipsbringingfoodtothecountry,Britainwentonrations

“Asrationingcametoanendinthe1950s,technologypickedupandwasusedto
