在春秋战国末期,闻名的思想家、儒家代表人家荀子也说过:“不学礼无以立,人无礼则不生,事无礼则不成,国无礼则不宁。”这些古代的圣人告知了我们一个道理,就是文明礼仪是我们学习、生活的根基,是我们健康成长的臂膀。

我们的祖国,是一个有着五千年历史的文明古国,礼仪之邦。华夏儿女的举手投足、音容笑貌,无不体现着一个人的气质与素养。

然而,在现代生活中,我们也无不缺憾的发觉,在物质文明飞速发展的今日,公民的文明素养却出现了不尽人意的滑坡。新华社10月7日报道了这样一则新闻:“十一”黄金周的其次天,在新疆乌鲁木齐南山旅游风景区出现80多名韩国游客集体捡垃圾的场面,其中包括多名儿童。这些远道而来的客人在巡游途中看到景区垃圾遍地,便自发地组织起来清理垃圾,短短20分钟,把方圆近1公里的垃圾清理得干干净净。然后将5个装满垃圾的纸箱送至垃圾站后,韩国游客才安心接着游玩。参与捡垃圾的一位韩国游客柳仁圭说:“野外本应当是一片净土,但令人惊异的是,这么美丽的地方却有如此多的垃圾。”同学们,不知你们听后作何感想?这是在我们的国土上发生的事啊!相形之下,作为一名中国人,颜面何存呢?

再来看看我们国内的很多风景区,可以看到这样一幕幕:在公共场所肆无忌惮吸烟,横躺座椅、胡乱吐痰、随意插队、乱扔垃圾,种种陋俗给景区留下了一曲曲不和谐的音符。即便到国外旅游,中国游客大声喧哗,不排队,不遵守公共秩序,没有良好卫生习惯等在国内已见怪不怪的陋俗也没有收敛,在外国背景的反差下更凸现得淋漓尽致,更极大地破坏了中华民族在世界人民心目中的形象。这也难怪在外国的很多风景区,挂出了用汉字书写的“请不要随地吐痰”的警示牌!唉!

作为一名中国人,我们在对外宾捡垃圾的行为表达敬意的同时,也更应当为自己的行为感到惭愧。中国,有让我们引以为傲慢的秀丽风光,更有“礼仪之邦”的美称。然而,秀丽的风光今日仍在,美妙礼仪却被一些国人丢得差不多了吧!

同学们,一个社会的全面进步不仅体现在物质的富有、技术的先进上,更体现在高尚的人格和文明的程度上。让我们的祖国在成为经济强国的同时,也成为新世纪的“礼仪之邦”!

如今的我们,大多是在优越的生活条件下生长起来的独生子女,在文明礼仪方面还存在着诸多的不足之处:在家庭中,一切以自我为中心,不与父母沟通,不理解家长的辛苦,对家人冷漠自私,一味索取而不知奉献;在学校里,不听从老师的训诲,不知道自主学习,穿一些奇妙的衣服,留着时尚的发型;在校内内大声喧哗,乱扔垃圾。这些不文明的行为干脆影响着同学们的健康成长,也影响了学校的形象。

那么先让我为大家讲解并描述2个事例:第一个事例是,新加坡是一个通用英语的国家,这个国家的公共场所的各种标语大多是用英语书写。但其中一些涉及文明礼貌的标语,如“不准随地吐痰”、“禁止吸烟”、“不准进入草坪”等却用中文书写。为什么呢?人家回答:因为有这些不文明行为的大多数是中国游客。为此,到新加坡考察的一位中国校长语重心长的说:不文明行为也是国耻。

其次个事例:据中央电视台报道,国庆后的天安门广场,随处可见的口香糖残迹,显得特别刺眼,40万平方米的天安门广场上竟有60万块口香糖残渣,有的地方不到一平方米的地面上竟有9块口香糖污渍,密密麻麻的斑痕与天安门广场的神圣和庄重形成了剧烈的反差。

以上两个事例表明,文明的一切都是由细微环节构成的,通过这些细微环节,我们望见了文明离我们国家还有肯定距离,因此我们每个学生都应当养成文明习惯,做一个我们的中学生。

然而缺憾的是,在我们身边,在一部分同学身上,还是有一些不文明的行为。例如,我们的校内内、楼道上总能看到与漂亮的校内极不和谐的白色垃圾、零食的包装袋,甚至有的同学在教室走廊上起哄大闹,走路推推搡搡;再例如校内内部分同学之间相互讲脏话、粗话,随意攀爬学校墙头、围栏;甚至还有同学有意损坏学校公共财物。我们许多同学把文化学问放在首位而经常忽视了社会公德、文明习惯的养成,而这恰恰从本质上体现了一个人的思想品质。事实上,良好的行为习惯是保证我们良好学习的前提,也是树立健康人格的基础。
