MinorjoinedthearmyofvolunteerssendingwordsandquotationstoMurray.Overthenext

Minorregularly,sometimestakingwalkswithhimaroundtheasylumgrounds.In1910,Minorleft

BroadmoorforanasyluminhisnativeAmerica.Murraywasattheporttowavegoodbyetohis

remarkablefriend.

Minordiedin1920,sevenyearsbeforethefirsteditionoftheOxfordEnglishDictionarywas

completed.The12volumesdefined414,825words,andthousandsofthemwerecontributions

fromaveryscholarlyanddevotedasylumpatient.
