advise是动词,常用句式:

(1)advisedoingsth建议做某事。如:

我建议等到适当时机。注:不能直接后跟不定式作宾语。所以不能说:Headvisedtoleaveearly.[链接](2)advisesb.todosth.建议某人做某事。如:

4.Howaboutdoing…?=Whataboutdoing…?Whatabout/Howaboutdoingsth?

表示“做某事怎么样?”,其用法有:

(1)用来询问情况或打听消息等,意为“……怎么样?/……如何?”。如:

I’mready.Whataboutyou?

我准备好了,你呢?HowaboutMother?Issheallright?

妈妈怎么样?她好吗?HowaboutyourEnglishexamyesterday?

昨天的英语考得怎么样?(2)用来提出请求,建议或征求对方意见,意为“(你认为)……怎么样?/……如何?”。如:

Howabouthavingarest?

休息一会儿怎么样?Whataboutacupoftea?

喝杯茶怎么样?OfcourseI’llcome.WhataboutFriday?

我当然要来,星期五来如何?WhataboutFather?Wecan’tjustleavehimhere.

父亲怎么办?我们不能把他丢在这。5.trytodo...trytodosth.表示“努力做某事”。如:

我们应该努力去帮助穷人。[注意]

trynottodosth.表示“努力/尽量不做某事”。如:

我们应该尽量不犯错误。[辨析]trytodosth.和trydoingsth.的用法try
