一、课程性质和任务
“商务英语视听说1"是为高等学校商务英语专业一年级学生开设的一门
综合语言技能课,是专业必修基础课程之一。该课程的主要任务是培养学
生进一步了解英语的应用广度,提高基本听力技能,帮助学生增强语感,
提高听力水平。
二'教学目的与要求
(-)教学目的
本课程以提高学生视,听,说综合技能为主要教学目的,旨在衔接和继续高
中以来英语视听能力的培养,训练视听基本技能。帮助学生克服视听障碍,
能辨听易混淆的单词和关键词句,理解大意、抓住主要论点和情节,能根据
所听材料进行分析、领会说话人的态度、感情和真实意图并用英语简单地做
笔记。教学采取多广度训练,尽量让学生接触较多的商务英语视听素材和辨
别各种英语口音。在基础阶段要结束时,学生能听懂VOA慢速新闻广播和
文化节目,抓住主要内容。听懂英语国家人士所作的难度适中的讲座,掌握
中心大意,理解主要内容,并能辨别说话人的态度和语气。
(-)教学基本要求
“商务英语视听说1”课程以日常活动为主题,侧重语言能力的培养。教学
内容丰富,包括人际关系沟通,电话会谈,点餐,购物、度假、交通、住宿、
旅行等活动板块,为了让学生更好地克服视听障碍,正确并恰当为用英语完
成商务活动打下坚实的基础,本课程选用高等教育出版社教材《新编商务英
语听力教程1X并配以大量的真实的商务英语视听材料,按照剑桥商务英
语初级水平的要求,让学生具备基本日常交流与沟通能力。

四'教学中应注意的问题
1)教学形式的多样化,达到专业性和趣味性相结合;
2)突出知识性和实践性的良好结合;
3)突出自主、互动的学习过程,使学生学以致用。在教学过程中注重国际商务
实践能力的锻炼,在商务活动的情境中既熟悉了国际贸易流程,又学习了相关英
语的应用。
4)在模拟商务场景中操练商务交际技能,了解相关知识。
