netreliefvalveinaccordancetoASMEB16.34andMSS-SP-45.b-ManualventinthebonnetinaccordancewithParagraph3.4.4.c-Drainholeintheupstreamsideofthediscwhichwillallowtheexpandedfluidtoflowintothesystem.d-Externalmanuallyoperatedbypassassemblydischargingintotheupstreamsideofthevalve.ThebypassshouldbeinaccordancewithParagraph3.4.5ofthisConfirmthis0ThegatevalvebonnetcavityshallnotConfirmthisoverpressurizedwhenthecavityisfullandthefluidtrappedinthebonnetisheatedfromtheambienttemperature(16'C)tothesystemdesigntemperature.Tomeetoverpressurizedwhenthecavityisfullandthefluidtrappedinthebonnetisheatedfromtheambienttemperature(16'C)tothesystemdesigntemperature.TomeetthisrequirementthebonnetshallbedesignedinaccordancetoASMEB31.1Section1Gatevalvedisc(plug)shallbefullyguidedassuringuniformaligningwithseat.Confirmthis2GatevalvesshallbefullportdesignperASMEB16.34ANNEXAunlessotherwiseVenturibodygatevalvesarerequirebyBidder'sapprovalandSpecifiedonValveDateConfirmthis3Valvesspecifiedas"LockedOpen"or"LockedClosed"shallbedesignedtoaccommodateadeviceforlockingthestemassemblyintheopenorclosedConfirmthisAllgatevalvesshallhavestemspackedwithTender'srecommendedself-lubricatingpacking(acceptabletoBidder),suitablefortheenvironmentandserviceconditionsspecifiedandhaving200ppm,orless,leachablechloride.Thepackingshallhaveprovisiontominimizecorrosionofstainlesssteelvalvestems.PackingshallbeinlinereplaceableandtheactuatorremovalshallnotberequiredforConfirmthisWhenspecifiedontheValveDataSheetsorrequiredbyTender'sdesign,valvesshallbeprovidedwithstuffingboxlanternrings.Thepackingbelowthelanternringshallbeafullsetcapableofwithstandingdesignconditionswithoutvisibleleakage.ThepackingabovethelanternringshallconsistofatleasthalfasetofpackingConfirmthisAlllanternglandleak-offconnectionsshall160mmlongstubsconnectedtothestuffingboxinaccordancewithASMEB16.34andMSS-SP-45.ConfirmthisEachvalveshallbeshippedwithpackinginstalled,unlessotherwiseindicatedinthisspecification.Thepackingshallbenewandnotpreviouslyusedinhydrotestingofthevalve.TheEachvalveshallbeshippedwithpackinginstalled,unlessotherwiseindicatedinthisspecification.Thepackingshallbenewandnotpreviouslyusedinhydrotestingofthevalve.ThevalveshallbedriedpriortoinstallationofnewConfirmthisThepackingglandflangeshallbesuchthatduringremovalofthepackinglostpartsareConfirmthisAllvalvesshallbecastorforgedwithbosses,aspermittedinASMEB16.34,toallowadditionofConfirmthisWhenspecifiedonValveDataSheetgatevalvesDN300andlargershallbeprovidedwithdrainconnectionseitherinthebottomofthevalvebody(betweentheseats),oronthebodyofthevalve(toremovethecondensatefromabovethedisc).Thedrainconnectionshallbea160mmlongpipestub,sizedandweldedtothevalvebodyinaccordancewithASMEB16.34.TendershallprovideapipeplugorcaptocloseeachbodydrainConfirmthisWhenspecifiedonattachedValveDataSheetsthebonnetshallbeprovidedwithdrainconnections.Thedrainshallbedesignedtoremovewaterand/orcrudinthebonnetwhenthevalveispositionedbelowConfirmthis3.4.5ValveConfirmthisGatevalvesDN200andlarger,whenspecifiedonValveDataSheet,shallbeprovidedwithaDN25bypassconnectiontothevalvebodyinaccordancetoASMEB16.34andMSS-SP-45.TheTendershallprovidewiththemainvalveoneDN25bypassvalve.BiddershallprovidetheremainderofthebypassinaccordancewithParagraph1.3ofthisConfirmthisThematerialsofthebypassassemblyshallbeThematerialsofthebypassassemblyshallbehavesocketweldendsandtheconstructionfeaturesidenticaltothosedescribedinASMESectionConfirmthisEndThevalvesshallbeprovidedwithbuttends,unlessotherwisespecifiedonValveDataSheetsinaccordancewithASMEB16.34.ConfirmthisValvesweldedtopipingofanincompatiblematerialshallbeprovidedwithadditional160mmlongstubendsthatarecompatiblewiththepipingmaterialforfieldwelding.ThethicknessofthestubendsshallbeselectedonthebasisofthedesigntemperatureandpressureofthevalveandthecapabilityoftheendtowithstandthehydrostatictestspecifiedfortheConfirmthisMaterialandTendershallberesponsiblefortheselectionintheconstructionoftheequipmentandConfirmthisMaterialsapplicationshallbecompatiblewiththefluidshandledandtherangeofoperatingconditionsspecified.ThematerialsapplicableshallbesubjecttoBidder'sConfirmthisAllmaterials,excludingpackingandgaskets,shallconformtotherequirementsoftheapplicableASTMspecificationsandadditionalrequirementsspecifiedConfirmthisAllgatevalvesshallhavestainlesssteelConfirmthisThefollowingvalvecomponentsshallbehardfacedwithStelliteNo.6oranalternateacceptabletoConfirmthis
