Bringtoclassthefollowingitems:eitherapictureofatoyorareallandline(notmobile)phone;apictureoforreallaptop,showingtheInternet;andapictureoforreallaptop,showinganemail.Settheseaside.Takeoutyourmobilephoneandpretendtotextsomeone.Mostlikely,yourstudentswilllookquitesurprised.Say,"Oh,Ioftensendtextstomyfriends".Holdupyourmobileandsay"Amobilephone.Repeat.Amobilephone".Havestudentsrepeatafteryou.Tellstudentsthatwesometimesjustcallitamobile.Showatextmessageonyourmobilesay"Atextmessage.Repeat.Atextmessage.Havestudentsrepeatafteryou.HolduptheStudentBook,showingtheinstantmessagesinExercise2andsay"Aninstantmessage.Repeat.Aninstantmessage".Havestudentsrepeatafteryou.Continuewiththeitemsyoubroughtintoteachemail,homephoneandtheInternet.
