don'tneedtobeflyingoverhead.Engineersarenowworkingonanewconcept:theraildronesofthefuture.They

willbemovingonthetrackaheadofthetrain,andprogrammedtorunautonomously.Verysmalldroneswith

advancedsensorsandAIandtravellingaheadofthetraincouldguideitlikeaco-pilot.Withtheirabilitytosee

ahead,theycouldsignalanyproblem,sothatfast-movingtrainswouldbeabletoreactintime.

Itcomesaftermorethanhalfofsoftdrinkssoldinshopshavehadtheirsugarlevelscutby

manufacturers(制造商)sotheycanavoidpayingthetax.Drinksnowcontain45millionfewerkilosofsugarasa

resultofmanufacturers*effortstoavoidthecharge,accordingtoTreasuryfigures.SinceAprildrinkscompanies

havebeenforcedtopaybetween18pand24pforeverylitreofsugarydrinktheyproduceorimport,dependingon

thesugarcontent.
