比较级的用法比较级:一、形容词的比较级1、形容词比较级在句子中的运用：两个事物或人的比较用比较级，比较级后面一般带有单词than。比较级的句子结构通常是：什么+动词be(am,is,are)+形容词比较级+than（比）+什么,如：I'mtallerandheavierthanyou.（我比你更高和更重。）Anelephantisbiggerthanatiger.（一只大象比一只老虎更大。）比较级前面可以用much,alittle，afew来修饰表示程度。than后的人称代词用主格（口语中可用宾格）。二、形容词比较级的形式变化（一）规则变化A．①一般情况在原级的词尾加-er，如tall-taller,strong-stronger,②以e结尾的词，直接加-r，如fine-finer,large—larger③以“辅音字母加y”结尾的词，先改y为i再加-er，如funny-funnier④重读闭音节，末尾只有一个元音字母和一个辅音字母的词，先双写这一辅音字母再加-er，如big--bigger,thin--thinner,hot–-hotter，sad--sadder，fat—fatterB.多音节词和部分双音节词在词前加more例如：

good/well--better,bad/badly—worse，many/much—more，little—lessfar—farther/further三、形容词比较级的用法1.两者比较时用形容词比较级，其结构为“…….比较级+than…”例：SheistallerthanLily.2.在两者之间选择“哪一个更……“时，用句型”which/whois+比较级…or…?例：whichsweaterischeaper，theredoneortheyellowone？3.表示“两者之间最…….的一个”时，用“the+比较级”例：Lucyisthetallerofthetwins。4.表示“越……，越……”时，用“the+比较级，the+比较级”。例：themoreyoueat，thefatteryouwillbecome。5.表示“越来越……”时，用“比较级+and+比较级”，多音节和部分双音节词用“moreandmore+形容词原级”。例：shegrowsmoreandmorebeautiful。6.形容词前也可以用下列修饰词修饰：much,alittle，far，abit，afew，alot，even，still，rather等。例：it’smuchcoldertodaythanyesterday。☆注意☆ 1、比较的两者应该是互相对应的可比较的东西。典型错误：Myhairislongerthanyou.（我的头发比你更长。）比较的两者是我的头发、你（整个人），那么比较的对象就没有可比性。应该改为：Myhairislongerthanyours.或Myhairislongerthanyourhair.2、如果比较的两者是一样的时候，我们会用as…as…这个词组。如果是和…….不一样，我们会用notso/as…….as.它的用法是：什么+be+as+形容词原形+as+什么，意思是什么和什么一样……。如：I'mastallasyou.（我和你一样高。）Myfeetareasbigasyours.（我的脚和你的一样大。）练习:
