宾语从句

在复合句中,由一个句子充当宾语,这个句子叫做宾语从句。

连接词

that引导的宾语从句

当谓语动词表示肯定的概念,如“希望、相信、知道、说”时,其后面的句子一般用that引导。that没有任何词汇含义,只有语法功能,目的是使读者清楚后面的句子是宾语从句。多数情况下that可以省略。

that不可省略的情况。

句中有两个或两个以上由that引导的宾语从句,只有第一个that可以省略

当it用作形式宾语代替that引导的宾语从句时

当宾语从句是双宾语中的直接宾语时

if/whether引导的宾语从句

(1)由whether/if引导的宾语从句,实际上是由一般疑问句演变而来的。常用来表达不确定的概念,可以翻译为“是否”宾语从句用陈述句语序(主语+谓语+其他成分)。

→Idon’tknowwhether/ifthegirlinredisJenny.

我不知道穿红衣服那个女孩是否是Jenny。

(2)if或whether引导宾语从句时,作“是否”讲,一般情况下,两者常可换用。

只用whether

在动词不定式之前只能用whether

在whether…ornot的固定搭配中

在介词后只能用whether

宾语从句放在句首表示强调时

宾语从句的时态取决于主句的时态

主句使用现在时,从句可根据语境确定需要的时态;主句使用一般过去时,从句除表示“真理”可使用现在时态外,其余相应地使用过去的某种时态。

宾语从句的时态

(1)What+a/an+形容词+可数名词单数(+主语+谓语)!

感叹句是用来表示人的喜怒哀乐等情感,通常用what或how来引导。

how引导的感叹句的结构为:

How+adj./adv.(+主语+谓语)!

How+adj.+a/an+可数名词单数(+主语+谓语)!

e.g.Howinterestingastoryitis!

How+主语+谓语

e.g.Howtimeflies!
