was.二、引导词1）thatthat在引导主语从句的时候并没有任何含义，而且在从句中也不充当任何成分，但是一般情况下，是不可以省略的（一般只有宾语从句中的that可以省略）Eg：ThatyouarecomingtoBeijingisthebestnewsIhaveheard.2）whetherwhether的含义为“是否”，用来表示从句的不确定性，一般情况下不能换成if。Eg：Whethershewillcomeornotisstillaquestion.3）连接代词可以引导主语从句的连接代词有what,whatever,who,whoever,whom,whomever,whose,whosever,which,whichever等；这些连接代词保留了自身的含义，因此在主语从句中可以充当主语、宾语、定语、表语等成分，因此也是不可以省略的，例如：Whatcausedtheaccidentisacompletemytery.Whenwearrivedoesn’tmatter.
