6.ShouldRetirementAgeBeRaised?Whethertoraisetheretirementagehasbecomeahottopicnowadays.Manypeopleseeincreasingtheretirementageasawaytohelpaddressthefinancialchallengesinthesocialsecurityfund.Andtheysaytherearecompellingdemographicreasonsforsuchachange—increasedlifespansincreasedworkingcapabilitiesandastructuraldemandforexperiencedlabor.Howevermanymorewereagainstraisingtheretirementage.Theyarguethatthepensionfundhasasurplusnow.Besidesaprolongedlifespandoesn'tnecessarilymeanthatpeopleareabletoworklonger.Moreimportantlyraisingtheretirementagewouldputmorestrainonthealreadygraveemploymentsituation.Addingworkingyearsforthosenowemployedwouldmeanfeweropeningsforthenewjobseekerswhoareyoungerandhealthier.PersonallyIthinkthegovernmentshouldraisetheretirementageonlywhenthereisseverelaborshortagerelativelyhighpensionpaymentsorthegovernmentisinafiscalcrisis.Howeverit'sapparentthatourcountrynowhasnoneofthesethreescenarios.ThereforeIdon'tthinkitnecessarytoraisetheofficialretirementageatpresent.ShouldRetirementAgeBeRaised?Whethertoraisetheretirementagehasbecomeahottopicnowadays.Manypeopleseeincreasingtheretirementageasawaytohelpaddressthefinancialchallengesinthesocialsecurityfund.And,theysay,therearecompellingdemographicreasonsforsuchachange—increasedlifespans,increasedworkingcapabilities,andastructuraldemandforexperiencedlabor.However,manymorewereagainstraisingtheretirementage.Theyarguethatthepensionfundhasasurplusnow.Besides,aprolongedlifespandoesn'tnecessarilymeanthatpeopleareabletoworklonger.Moreimportantly,raisingtheretirementagewouldputmorestrainonthealreadygraveemploymentsituation.Addingworkingyearsforthosenowemployedwouldmeanfeweropeningsforthenewjobseekerswhoareyoungerandhealthier.Personally,Ithinkthegovernmentshouldraisetheretirementageonlywhenthereisseverelaborshortage,relativelyhighpensionpaymentsorthegovernmentisinafiscalcrisis.However,it'sapparentthatourcountrynowhasnoneofthesethreescenarios.Therefore,Idon'tthinkitnecessarytoraisetheofficialretirementageatpresent.

7.CanDonationChangePeople'sLifeinUnderdevelopedAreas?Peoplearenowmoreandmoreencouragedbybothnon-governmentalandgovernmentalorganizationstohelpthepeopleinunderdevelopedareasbydonations.Donationsinformsofbothmoneyandmaterialsarecalledonespeciallyintimeofdisastersoremergencyintheunderdevelopedareas.Itisobviousthatvariousdonationsgoingtotheunderdevelopedareasdoimprovetheconditionsoftheseareastosomeextent.Firstlythesedonationscanbeusedtoresolvesomepracticalproblemsintheseareasbyworkingasasourceoffundsforconstructionforexample.Secondlydonationalsoofferssomeopportunitiesforthedevelopmentofeducationinunderdevelopedareas.Moneybooksandvariousdevicesandeducationalequipmentsdonatedtotheseareasareusefulfortheirculturalandeducationaldevelopment.Inthethirdplacedonationisreallyanefficientwayofpullingpeoplethroughtemporarybutoverwhelmingdifficultiesandhardships.Howeveritdocsnotfollowthatdonationcanreplacegovernmentalbehavior.Infactthelatteristheveryapproachtoathoroughdevelopmentoftheunderdevelopedareas.Ononehanddonationisonashorttermbasisandisonlyhelpfulinsolvingsometemporaryproblemswhilegovernmentalbehaviorisonalong-termbasisandcanbedependeduponinsolvingsomeradicalproblems.Ontheotherhanddonationisusuallyaimedatcertainplacesinsteadofalltheunderdevelopedareasandthuscannotsolvetheproblemsofalltheseareaswhilegovernmentalbehaviorisdirected
