Invited,Iwillnottakepartintheparty.=EvenifIaminvited,Iwillnottakepartintheparty.现在分词作方式、结果或伴随状语时,通常不能转换为状语从句,但可转换为and引导的并列结构。

Tomsatbythewindow,readingabook.(V-ing做伴随状语)=Tomsatbythewindowandwasreadingabook.

Hisparentsdied,leavinghimanorphan.(V-ing做结果状语)=Hisparentsdiedandlefthimanorphan.
