武侠电影(wǔxiádiànyǐng)isauniquegenreofChinesecinema,whichhasalonghistoryandabroadinfluenceintheChinesesociety.Itisatypeoffilmthatcombinesmartialarts,romance,anddrama,depictingaherowhoisskilledinmartialartsandfightingforjustice.AsoneofthemostpopulargenresinChina,wuxiafilmshaveattractedalargenumberofaudiencesbothnationallyandinternationally.However,theculturaldifferencesbetweenChinaandtherestoftheworld,particularlyinlanguageandtranslation,haveposedsignificantchallengestothedisseminationofwuxiafilms.ThetranslationofwuxiafilmsubtitlesintoEnglish,forinstance,canbeproblematicandmayimpacttheaudience'sunderstandingandappreciationofthefilm.Therefore,inthispaper,wewillusethemultiplesystemstheorytoanalyzethelanguageandculturalelementsinwuxiafilmsanddiscussthechallengesinEnglishtranslation.ThegoalistoprovidesomerecommendationsforimprovingthequalityofEnglishsubtitlesandfacilitatingtheinternationaldisseminationofwuxiafilms.

Methodology
