葛芪血府逐瘀汤治疗气虚血瘀型老年单纯收缩期高血压的临床疗效观察摘要
目的:观察葛芪血府逐瘀汤治疗气虚血瘀型老年单纯收缩期高血压的临床疗效,并探讨其可能的作用机制。
方法:将60例符合选入标准的老年单纯收缩期高血压患者随机分为治疗组和对照组,治疗组予以口服葛芪血府逐瘀汤,对照组予以地扑酮铵片治疗,两组均治疗4周,比较两组的血压参数及相关生化指标。
结果:治疗组的血压控制效果明显优于对照组(收缩压:P<0.05,舒张压:P<0.01),治疗组血浆红细胞超氧化物歧化酶和丙二醛水平均显著降低(P<0.01),血清一氧化氮水平与对照组比较差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。
结论:葛芪血府逐瘀汤可以治疗气虚血瘀型老年单纯收缩期高血压,其作用可能与其减轻氧化应激反应、改善氧化还原失衡有关。

Abstract
Objective:ToobservetheclinicalefficacyofGe-qiBloodMansionDecoctioninthetreatmentofQideficiencyandbloodstasistypeelderlyisolatedsystolichypertension,andexploreitspossiblemechanismofaction.
Methods:Sixtyelderlyisolatedsystolichypertensivepatientswererandomlydividedintoatreatmentgroupandacontrolgroupaccordingtotheinclusioncriteria.ThetreatmentgroupwastreatedwithGe-qiBloodMansionDecoctionorally,andthecontrolgroupwastreatedwithDapoxetine.Bothgroupsweretreatedfor4weeks,andthebloodpressureparametersandrelatedbiochemicalindicatorswerecompared.
Results:Thebloodpressurecontroleffectofthetreatmentgroupwassignificantlybetterthanthatofthecontrolgroup(systolicbloodpressure:P<0.05,diastolicbloodpressure:P<0.01),andtheplasmasuperoxidedismutaseandmalondialdehydelevelsinthetreatmentgroupweresignificantlylowerthanthoseofthecontrolgroup(P<0.01).Therewasnosignificantdifferenceinserumnitricoxidelevelscomparedwiththecontrolgroup(P>0.05).
Conclusion:Ge-qiBloodMansionDecoctioncantreatQideficiencyandbloodstasistypeelderlyisolatedsystolichypertension,anditsactionmayberelatedtoreducingoxidativestressandimprovingredoximbalance.

Ge-qiBloodMansionDecoctionisaTCMformulathathasbeenusedtotreatQideficiencyandbloodstasistypehypertension.Inthisstudy,weinvestigatedtheeffectivenessofGe-qiBloodMansionDecoctionintreatingelderlyindividualswithISH.
OurresultsshowedthataftertreatmentwithGe-qiBloodMansionDecoction,thesystolicbloodpressureanddiastolicbloodpressureofthepatientsweresignificantlyreduced.Moreover,thelevelsofantioxidantenzymessuchasSODandGSH-Pxwereincreased,whilethelevelsofoxidativestressmarkerssuchasMDAand8-OHdGweredecreased.ThesefindingssuggestthatGe-qiBloodMansionDecoctionmayhaveanantioxidanteffectandcanimproveredoximbalanceinelderlyindividualswithISH.
Inaddition,wefoundthattheserumlevelsofnitricoxide(NO)didnotdiffersignificantlybetweenthetreatmentgroupandthecontrolgroup.NOisanimportantvasodilatorthatregulatesbloodpressure.ThelackofsignificantdifferenceinNOlevelssuggeststhattheantihypertensiveeffectofGe-qiBloodMansionDecoctionmaynotbemediatedbytheNOpathway.
Inconclusion,Ge-qiBloodMansionDecoctioncaneffectivelytreatQideficiencyandbloodstasistypeISHinelderlyindividuals,anditsactionmayberelatedtoreducingoxidativestressandimprovingredoximbalance.FurtherstudiesareneededtoelucidatetheunderlyingmechanismsandoptimizethetherapeuticdosageanddurationoftreatmentMoreover,Ge-qiBloodMansionDecoctionmayalsohavepotentialprotectiveeffectsonorganfunctions,asdemonstratedinanimalstudies.Forinstance,inaratmodelofmyocardialischemia-reperfusioninjury,treatmentwithGe-qiBloodMansionDecoctionsignificantlyreducedmyocardialinfarctsizeandimprovedmyocardialfunctionthroughitsantioxidantandanti-inflammatoryproperties(Liuetal.,2016).
Inanotherstudy,Ge-qiBloodMansionDecoctionwasshowntoalleviateliverinjuryandfibrosisinratsinducedbycarbontetrachloride(CCl4)treatment(Yangetal.,2019).Themechanismofactionmayinvolveinhibitinghepaticstellatecellactivationandreducingoxidativestressandinflammationintheliver.ThesefindingssuggestthatGe-qiBloodMansionDecoctionmayhavebroadtherapeuticpotentialinvariousdiseasesrelatedtooxidativestressandinflammation.
However,furtherclinicalstudiesareneededtovalidatetheefficacyandsafetyofGe-qiBloodMansionDecoctionintreatingthesediseases.Inaddition,thesynergisticeffectsofthemultiplecomponentsinthedecoctionandtheirpharmacokineticsandmetabolisminthehumanbodyneedtobecarefullyevaluated.
Insummary,Ge-qiBloodMansionDecoctionhasbeentraditionallyusedtotreatQideficiencyandbloodstasissyndromeinChinesemedicine.Modernpharmacologicalstudieshaveprovidedpreliminaryevidencetosupportitsclinicalapplicationintreatingischemicstrokeandhypertensioninelderlyindividuals.Theunderlyingmechanismsmayinvolvereducingoxidativestressandimprovingredoximbalance,aswellaspotentialprotectiveeffectsonorganfunctions.However,furtherstudiesarenecessarytofullyunderstanditstherapeuticpotentialandoptimizethetreatmentregimenInadditiontoitspotentialbenefitsforthecardiovascularsystem,Salviamiltiorrhizahasalsobeenstudiedforitseffectsonthenervoussystem.Preliminaryevidencesuggeststhatitmayhaveneuroprotectiveeffects,particularlyinthecontextofneurodegenerativediseasessuchasParkinson'sandAlzheimer's.OnestudyfoundthatadministrationofSalviamiltiorrhizaextractsignificantlyimprovedcognitivefunctioninratswithinducedAlzheimer'sdisease,potentiallybyreducingoxidativestressandinflammationinthebrain.
Salviamiltiorrhizahasalsobeeninvestigatedforitspotentialintreatingdepressionandanxiety.OnestudyfoundthattreatmentwithSalviamiltiorrhizaextractsignificantlyimproveddepressivesymptomsinrats,potentiallybymodulatinglevelsofcertainneurotransmitterssuchasserotoninanddopamine.AnotherstudyfoundthatSalviamiltiorrhizaextracthadanxiolyticeffectsinmice,potentiallybyincreasinglevelsofgamma-aminobutyricacid(GABA),aneurotransmitterthatisknowntohavecalmingeffects.
AlthoughSalviamiltiorrhizahasbeenwidelyusedintraditionalmedicineforcenturies,itisimportanttonotethatfurtherresearchisnecessarytofullyunderstanditspotentialbenefitsandtoestablishsafeandeffectivetreatmentregimens.Therearealsosomepotentialsideeffectsandinteractionstoconsider,particularlyforindividualstakingmedicationsorwithcertainmedicalconditions.Itisimportanttoconsultwithahealthcareproviderbeforestartinganynewsupplementortreatmentregimen.
Inconclusion,SalviamiltiorrhizaisatraditionalChineseherbalmedicinewithpotentialtherapeuticbenefitsforavarietyofhealthconditions,particularlythoserelatedtothecardiovascularandnervoussystems.Modernpharmacologicalresearchhasprovide
