与while

(1)“当…的时候”,如后面连接的动词为进行时态,则用while多于用when。而when通常与瞬间性动词或延续性不强的动词连用。eg；ThestudentswereplayingfootballontheplaygroundwhenIgottoschool.

(2)如果while前后的动词都是进行时态,while可译为“与此同时”eg：Iwasreading
