正确地将原文语言的信息用译文语言表达出来，不苛求语法与句子结构的一致，要求信息内涵上的相等。

例如原文：由于素体脾胃虚弱，或久病失血伤阴，致阴血不足，胞脉失养。原译文：Thediseaseresultsfromchronicsplenogastricasthenia,oryin-bloodconsumptionbybleedingwithchronicillness,leadingtoinsufficiencyandfailuretonourishtheuterinecollaterals.

中医英语翻译的“准确”原则与运用

译者在将原文语言内容转换到译文语言内容的过程中选词准确，概念表达确切，物与名所指正确。

例如原文：如果气化功能失常，就会影响到气、血、津液的新陈代谢，影响饮食物的消化吸收，影响汗液、尿液和粪便的排泄，从而形成各种各样代谢异常的疾病。原译文：thedisorderofQiactivitycanaffectthemetabolismofQi,

bloodandbodyfluid,affectthedigestionandabsorptionoffood,andaffectsweating,urinationanddefecation,resultinginvariousmetabolicdiseases.
