She could .本课主要从学生兴趣出发，联系学生已有的对名人的了解，通过dialogues、readings、picture talking等多种活动，使学生学会运用could和couldnt描述某人过去能做和不能做的事情。同时，通过学习美国著名盲人作家Helen Keller的故事，教育学生要坚强勇敢地向命运挑战。教学目标 1.语言知识目标（1）要求学

2、生会读、认知词汇：role model, born ,became, spell ,herself, all over（2）要求学生能够理解并掌握句型I could ,but I couldnt，以及在表达人能力方面的运用。2.技能目标 (1) 学生能够用could和couldnt来描述过去自己能做和不能做的事情。（2）通过学习可以根据图片或思维导图讲述海伦凯勒的事迹，进一步写一写自己心目中值得学习的人的事迹。（3）通过师生问答、两两对话、角色扮演等多种言语交际活动，培养和提高口语交际能力和在日常生活中运用英语的能力；3情感态度与价值观（1）激发和保持学生英语学习的动机。（2）通过学习美国著名
