2、 he like now?Hes tall now.认知目标:学生能运用used to结构,谈论自己或他人怎样与过去不同,能准确地描述自己或他人的外貌、性格、兴趣等方面的变化,灵活运用used to结构处理和传递信息。情感目标:培养学生积极健康的心态,学会谈论事情的发展和变化,明白事物是不断发展、变化的道理。【评价任务】1.学生掌握本课时中出现的生词humorous, silent, helpful, from time to time, score2.学生学会用used to描述自己或他人的变化,利用“used to”句型来描述人的外貌、性格、爱好等方面的变化。3.学生能对话形式来讨论比较人
3、的外貌、性格的一些变化。 A中的1a是以表格列单词的形式出现,从而归纳表示“Appearance”和“Personality”的词.【导学建议】1 .我们学生的基础差,我们应创设情景,让学生身临其境见景生情,有话可说,要借助直观情景,引起学生有意注意,并且要保护学习成绩不稳定的学生的积极性,防止两极分化的产生。上课时要在自由、民主,宽松的气氛中充分调动学生学习的主动性,从而达到锻炼能力、启迪学生的创造思维,求得全面和谐发展的目的。2 .本课时以谈论“How we have changed”为话题,这个话题容易引起学生的兴趣。因为它跟学生自己本身有关,学生比较容易利用“used to”进行描述。
4、教学时围绕本单元的教学目标,设计一些贴近学生实际的教学任务,创设与本课话题相关的情景。培养学生积极健康的心态,学会谈论事物的发展和变化,明白事物是不断发展和变化的道理。通过本课时的学习,引导学生学会使用讨论合作和比较的学习策略。采用Discussing和Comparing的学习策略,利用课件图片来教学,再通过Pair work的问答式的口语交际活动和小组活动,达到口语和听力训练的目的。【学习过程】一、课前预习1、Ask the students to describepeoples appearance . What does he/she look like? (tall, short, t
5、hin, heavy, fat, medium, height, good-looking, straight, hair ,curly blonde hair, a medium build, glasses, sunglasses, sports shoes)2、Ask the students todescribe peoples personality.What is he/she like? (outgoing, easygoing, serious, funny, moody, friendly, unfriendly, shy, generous, smart)要求学生注意:be
6、 like与look like :两者意思接近,都是询问某人怎么样,但be like侧重于问某人的性格品质等。而look like侧重于询问人的外貌特征。二、课中探究Ask the students toLook at the chart in 1a, then discuss with your group mates.
